Our 2018 Monte Rosso Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a slice of history in a glass. We gathered the fruit from a selection of our favorite blocks in our historic Monte Rosso Vineyard, including the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon block in California. The nose fills with Monte Rosso’s signature spice and sweet wood aromatics and a thread of smoky ancho. Notes of ripe cherry, black currant and warm plum compote fill the palate. Underlying hints of sarsaparilla and caramelized oak lead to a long, earthy finish with a touch of wet clay. Varietal : 100% Cabernet Sauvignon "Ripe, focused and nicely structured, this full-bodied wine wraps delicious, tangy red cherries and plump black cherries in rather firm tannins, keeping them fresh for longer aging. Refreshing red fruit rather than black fruit with nice freshness. The palate shows some fine grain and bright acidity. There is a lot of wood on the finish that hangs around with a plume of smoke, adding some beautiful complexity. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon , 22% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc   "Deep ruby-garnet, purple glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Fragrance of black berries, a hint of liquorice, and savoury-tobacco nuances underpinned by a hint of nougat and Irish moss. The Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Rouge 2018 had all the characteristics of a great vintage. They have superb balance, tremendous freshness, and a distinguished, elegant character. The reds are beautifully crafted. The Merlot offers a sublime mid-palate, with a silkiness and density that are rarely achieved. The Cabernet is spectacular, with exceptional aromatic profiles and levels of quality. The Petit-Verdots, co-fermented with the merlots, are particularly silky. 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc "… some gorgeous rich liquorice and cassis fruits… the texture stands out for its silkiness. La Cueva del Contador 2021 is a red wine endowed with a robust personality and a ripeness that captivates from the initial taste. On the nose, we encounter an array of ripe red and black fruits intricately woven with delicate hints of spices that contribute to its elegant complexity. On the palate, it presents as full-bodied and well-structured, delivering a sumptuous texture that encourages one to ponder its bottle maturation potential. This red wine is a reliable choice for those in pursuit of depth and a noteworthy ageing potential. 100% Tempranillo "I found cleaner aromas and a fresher quality and finer tannins in the 2019 La Cueva del Contador, a quite complete wine with elegance and finesse combined with power and concentration. The oak is still noticeable after 18 months in new barriques, and I'd wait a little longer before pulling the cork. It has the perfume of La Cueva in the background. The Grand Cru Classé in red Malartic-Lagravière appellation Pessac-Léognan keeps all its promises and once again honors the tradition of wines from the Bordeaux region. The Merlots, with the dry and warm June and July, are fleshy, round and aromatic. After the rains at the end of September, the Cabernets finish refining their tannins, preserving the freshness and thus offering extraordinary complexity, sap and silkiness. 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot “Very complex aromas of dark berries, mushrooms, earth, flowers and incense. Crushed stone, too. Full-bodied with very fine, refined tannins that are caressing and beautiful. It’s very, very long and persistent in the finish with subtle and complex flavors. This will deliver beauty with age. Drink after 2025.” – 96 points, James Suckling

Tasting Notes:Powerful and complex, our Simone is a deep ruby color with hints of violet. The nose is bursting with energy, distilling a captivating aromatic bouquet of black fruits and roasted notes. The palate is fleshy, fresh and vibrant. The tight tannic structure is velvety, with a long mineral finish. This special cuvée will express the same energy for the next 35 years. Food Pairing: Beef, Veal, Game, Poultry  

A pure expression of a minimally oaked Pinot Noir, our Micault 2020 displays a deep ruby color. This refreshing and elegant wine features aromas of red fruits, such as redcurrant and cherry, with a hint of spice. On the palate, the tannins are ethereal and lacy. Micault 2020 explodes in the mouth with its jubilant, juicy Morello cherry profile. Enjoyable today, this Pommard will evolve gracefully over the next 10 years. Maturation: 18 months in 15% new French oak barrels Food Pairing: Beef, Veal, Game (deer, venison), Poultry

The pebble-rich and limestone soils of Volnay, rising between 230 and 280 meters above sea level, makes for a delicate, aromatic, and elegant Pinot Noir revealing the feminine profile of the appellation. Cultivated since the Middle Ages, the vineyard located on the steep slopes of the hill of Chaignot has always been a perfect fit for Burgundy’s native red grape variety. With a delicate nose of peonies, strawberries, raspberries and cherries, our Volnay 2017 shows a feminine profile. The palate reveals notes of pomegranate and sweet spices, such as vanilla and cinnamon, as well as silky and smooth tannins. With pronounced intensity and long finish, it is a Pinot Noir made for aging, that will evolve beautifully. Recommended Serving Temperature: 16°C
