Here at Asahi Shuzo, we craft sake to brighten your life.

We strive to create the highest quality sake for our customers to enjoy its taste and flavors. Dassai is meant to be a way to a pleasant lifestyle.

In the brewing of Dassai, after the rice has been milled and brought into the brewery, it has lost a great deal of moisture due to the frictional heat of the polishing process over a long period of time, up to 144 hours. The rice is washed in the brewery and stored for over a month to allow the moisture to naturally return to its original moisture content. All efforts are made to ensure that the customers who drink this sake will be happy with the perfect rice polishing method.

It is because we craft a high-quality sake that we want to share it with everyone around the world.
