Capitulo, ‘Chapter’ in Spanish, showcases the Parra family’s dedication and hard work, drawing on colorful Colombian heritage to create the unique flavour profiles captured in each of these releases.   • Nose : A big hit of dry sherry notes, and then a sweetness of vanilla and oak come through. Some new leather notes and light cigar tones work with cinnamon and ginger for a rich nose.
  • Palete : Sweet sherry and red soft fruits combine with a kick of cinnamon spice and an oak dryness for a bold and complex palate that also has cherry stones and hints of earthy patchouli.

Dictador Aged 10 Years

Dictador 10 Years Old is a molasses rum from the now famous Colombian brand. The barrels that have received this rum during its long rest are in Colombian white oak called Quercus Humbolti, we find there the typically roasted notes that have made it famous. Its age of 10 years is a weighted age, because aging is done according to the Solera method, which consists of gradually blending young rums with older ones (perpetual reserve). The color of her dress is coppery orange. The nose seduces with aromas of freshly roasted coffee smoothly blended with vanilla. The mouth shows a beautiful sweetness and is dominated by coffee notes, without bitterness, faithful to the sensations perceived on the nose. Vanilla delicately finds its place throughout the tasting. The finish has a good length still strongly marked by mocha. This unique rum reveals an interesting aromatic richness dominated by coffee notes.

Cocchi Americano is an aromatized wine created in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi and since then produced without interruption according to the original recipe. The name “Americano” is both due to the alcohol made bitter (“amaricato”) by the addition of herbs and spices and to the American habit of drinking vermouth with ice and soda. Produced according to Giulio Cocchi original recipe, Cocchi Americano is recognized in Asti as the aperitif par excellence – a real piece of history of our town. On its label the original futurist rooster designed in the 30’s and representing his aperitif function (“it awakes the appetite”) as well as one of the symbols of the town of Asti. During its history, Cocchi has produced some variants to its Aperitivo Americano. CHARACTERISTICS
Cocchi Rosa name reminds us that it’s produced with red wines, from which it derives its colour and wild rose notes. Refined with natural extracts of flowers and spices, in particular gentian, cinchona and citrus as per the Americano Bianco but with the addition of saffron, vanilla and rose petals. Its beautiful red colour is completely natural and derives from the wine.
HOW TO DRINK IT
The classic version foresees a cocktail glass with ice cubes, a spray of soda and a zest of rose grapefruit. Soda can be pleasantly replaced with ginger beer, lemon soda and tonic water. In its spritz version, Cocchi Rosa is mixed with Brachetto wine and a zest of rose grapefruit or lemon. Garnish it with rosemary. The combination with spirits such as gin, vodka and mescal is particularly positive. Cocchi Rosa is a perfect ingredient for the new trend of “low octane” cocktails, with a low alcohol content.

It is a vermouth in the style of the former kingdom of Piemonte, result of an unique partnership with Reggia di Venaria and only produced in two very small batches. Recipe, selection of botanicals, long maturation: every element has been carefully reasoned and selected for historical and geographical consistency. CHARACTERISTICS
The peculiar style of Cocchi Vermouths makes them identifiable for their strong personality, for the intensity of their floral freshness and spicy fragrances and for their richness of flavors. The Cocchi Riserva is the culmination of this style that emphasizes the richness and aromatic density of spices with a six months refinement in the bottle. “Reserve” does not mean aging in barrels, which would affect the complex aromatic balance in favor of oxidation and tannin components, but the valorization of the formula and the savoir faire in production. As in Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino, the wine is aromatized with a formula particularity rich in Artemisia, Rhubarb, Alpine herbs and a touch of Piedmontese mint. This composition accentuates the pleasant balsamic effect and gives a surprising freshness, to the point that this product could also be perfectly mixed with aged Rye of Bourbon.
HOW TO DRINK
Dark amber in color but without caramel in its formula, Cocchi Riserva La Venaria Reale is sweet enoght to be enjoyed pure with ice and lemon peel, or by itself as a digestive.

Cockburn’s Fine Tawny is a blend of young, vibrant wines from different harvests aged for an average of two to three years in casks before being blended and bottled ready to enjoy. They are lighter in colour than Ruby Ports and combine the fruitiness of young wines and the nuttiness derived from the maturation in seasoned oak casks. A bright reddish tawny colour. On the nose Cockburn’s Fine Tawny has light and crisp fruit aromas balanced with a nutty toffee mellowness achieved through its maturation in oak casks.
