La Marca Prosecco

$38.00
Our delicate La Marca Prosecco has a pale, golden straw colour and sparkles with lively effervescence. Opening with aromas of fresh-picked citrus and honeysuckle blossoms, the crisp, clean palate brings fruity flavours of green apple, juicy peach and ripe lemon, framed by hints of minerality. The finish is light and refreshing with a tantalizing hint of sweetness. The grapes for La Marca Prosecco were selected with great care from small vineyards throughout the Prosecco DOC, from the Glera grape. La Marca Prosecco has the charm to stand alone as an aperitif, but it also has the body and the acidity to pair well with a range of foods, from seafood and mild cheeses to rich pasta dishes and decadent desserts. La Marca adds sparkle to bubbly brunch bites, like classic eggs benedict, chorizo chilaquiles or chicken and waffles. For a crisp and vibrant dinner party, pair Prosecco alongside fresh-caught crab or fish tacos with endive slaw, goat cheese flatbread pizza or roasted chicken with creamy lemon La Marca sauce.

Our fruit was harvested by hand at the end of February then whole-bunch pressed and settled in tank before transfer to tank and barrel for fermentation. The wine underwent a partial malolactic fermentation and was aged for 10 months – part in stainless steel tank to retain fresh fruit flavours, part in barrel for added complexity. Kokuryu Daiginjo Ryu

$110.00
After the founder returned from France, he applied wine aging to sake and released it in 1975. At the time, it was the most expensive sake in Japan, which was a turning point for the brewery. It was also the first in the industry to use the now-common expression "Daiginjo”. At that time, a label with a dragon stamped in gold foil was used on the sake bag used to press the sake. THis Daiginjo is fruity and soft with the notes of apple, peach, melon and strawberry. Fermented at low temperature, it is mellow with pleasant acidity and umami. Mildly dry and crisp, it is easy-drinking and delicious. REMARKS: The sake has been pasteurized, so it can be delivered at room temperature. However, cold temperature is suggested for long-term storage. Recommended way to drink: 5°C to 10°C Tasting Notes: Well-rounded, gently aromatic and surprisingly incisive. Grade: Daiginjo Rice: Yamada Nishiki Rice Polishing Ratio: 40% rice polishing Nihonshu-do (SMV): +4

Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino

$62.00
COCCHI STORICO VERMOUTH DI TORINO Vermouth di Torino is a collective heritage of Piedmont, which sees in the royal Savoy court as first big promoter of a product which, mainly starting from the late XVIII century, generated a flourishing industry which led Piedmont to become the Kingdom of Vermouth. In occasion of the 120 years from the foundation, Storico Vermouth di Torino is again produced according to the original recipe of Giulio Cocchi. This vermouth belongs to the category of the sweet vermouths, or Italian vermouths, sweet and amber as indicated in the manuals of the late XIX century. Storico Vermouth di Torino Cocchi has been the protagonist of the international rebirth of the top-of-the-range vermouths and the renovated interest of the great barmen for the denomination Vermouth di Torino so that it is also familiarly denominated “Cocchi Torino”. In a very short time, it’s become one of the top-of-the-range Vermouths chosen in the best bars of the world. botanical-library-Storico-Vermouth-di-Torino CHARACTERISTICS The original recipe of Giulio Cocchi calls for the use of herbs such as Cinchona and rhubarb which lightly colour of brown the beautiful clear wine. In order to emphasize its amber tone, the addition of sugar browned on fire emphasizes its amber tone, giving together with colour also a special note to the taste: crunchy and cotton candy able to round all the bitter tastes without using vanilla. A thrilling vermouth, rich in sensations: among the herbs and the aromatizing spices, Artemisia and citrus are the protagonists with their balanced bitter and citrusy notes which characterize Cocchi style. A rich taste with vibrant notes of cocoa and bitter orange. From the infusion of some noble and balsamic woods, we have in the end light aromas of camphor and rosemary notes. Among the minor ingredients, herbs and woods with unique perfumes such as sandal, musk, myrrh and nutmeg. HOW TO DRINK Delicious when pure on ice and a small lemon zest, but also an essential base for the creation of the most classic cocktails from Negroni to Manhattan. TECHNICAL INFO Alcohol content: 16% Vol Bottle content: 75 Cl Ingredients: wine, sugar, alcohol, aromatic herbs infusion and spices. Close the bottle with its cork after opening. $247.00
After ceasing production in 2015, The GlenDronach Revival Aged 15 years now returns to the core range of the distillery’s line-up. The expression embodies The GlenDronach’s signature style of Spanish Sherry Cask maturation in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, quietly growing in stature for 15 years in the darkness of our dunnage warehouses. In flavour, the expression offers sumptuous notes of dark fruits, rich chocolate and manuka honey with an enveloping, memorable finish worthy of this monumental malt’s history. This luxuriously sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
  • Colour: Antique Bronze.
  • Nose: An intoxicating burst of maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate mint with hints of orange bitters and walnut liquer.
  • Taste: Honey-glazed apricot and ripe fig with a crescendo of black cherry, angelica and muscovado.
  • Finish: Long and enveloping with dark manuka honey, herbal bitters and dark chocolate.
Food Pairing: Appetizer (eg, Smoked Salmon*), and Snacks *Another faint puff of smoke works to tease hidden flavours from the salmon, including coffee beans and even mint. Both harbour coastal influences, and the brown sugar notes of the spirit temper any of the salmon’s residual bitterness.

Handpicked Capella Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

$52.80
Mornington Peninsula, Australia The 2017 vintage on the Mornington Peninsula was a classic one in which overall mild and stable conditions produced superb quality fruit and wines of great balance, finesse and longevity. Dubbed by some a “Goldilocks” vintage, 2017 delivered just enough and not too much of everything. Vines ripened slowly, building great depth of flavour while retaining fine balance in sugar and acid. Harvest began in early-March, a little later than the long-term average, and somewhat of a relief after the record-early vintage of 2016. Fruit from select blocks at Capella Vineyard is handpicked, destemmed, and sorted by hand to ensure only the finest berries make it into this beautifully perfumed, supple and silky wine. The aromas are classic Pinot Noir – cherries, strawberries, and earthy spice - with the purity and perfume we have come to expect of Capella Vineyard. The palate combines power and grace with great texture and silky-smooth tannin. Recommended Serving Temperature: 15-17°C Food Pairing: Peking Duck, Roasted Quail, Mushroom Risotto
