There wouldn't be an apple without an apple tree and there wouldn't be Jack without an oak tree. After all, our American white oak barrels are more than a container for the whiskey; theyā€™re really an ingredient. All of our Tennessee Whiskeys draw their rich amber color and a good part of their distinctive flavor from the barrel it matures in. We couldnā€™t make the perfect whiskey for this drink without them.

Woodford ReserveĀ® Very Fine Rare Bourbon

$211.00
In the 1830ā€™s our Woodford County distillery was the setting for a series of discoveries and innovative practices that would define the bourbon industry for generations to come. For this 2020 Masterā€™s Collection release Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall have drawn upon the rich history of that time and their own careers for inspiration. Local newspapers from the 19th century highlighted auctions of highly aged Bourbon barrel lots as being ā€œVery Fineā€ and ā€œRare.ā€ The very rare barrels of Woodford Reserve featured in this Masterā€™s Collection date back to the first year Morris became our Master Distiller. He and McCall have held them back from inclusion in their standard batching process to inaugurate this new package. ā€œDue to the heat-cycled warehousing at Woodford Reserve our product yield is extremely low. This makes a longer aged product at Woodford Reserve an extremely difficult accomplishment and therefore something that is quite rare.ā€œ ā€“ Elizabeth McCall The result is the Fall 2020 Masterā€™s Collection release named Very Fine Rare Bourbon, a rich and darkly robust expression of Woodford Reserve Bourbon. TASTE NOTES
  • Aroma : Layers of rich oak sweet aromatic notes, caramel, brown sugar, chocolate, vanilla merge into a cured tobacco character brightened with apple fruit.
  • Taste : Very old oak notes sweetened with honey balanced by a touch of citrus and apple peel and a touch of clove spice.

Kokuryu Daiginjo Ryu

$115.90
After the founder returned from France, he applied wine aging to sake and released it in 1975. At the time, it was the most expensive sake in Japan, which was a turning point for the brewery. It was also the first in the industry to use the now-common expression "Daiginjoā€. At that time, a label with a dragon stamped in gold foil was used on the sake bag used to press the sake. THis Daiginjo is fruity and soft with the notes of apple, peach, melon and strawberry. Fermented at low temperature, it is mellow with pleasant acidity and umami. Mildly dry and crisp, it is easy-drinking and delicious. REMARKS: The sake has been pasteurized, so it can be delivered at room temperature. However, cold temperature is suggested for long-term storage. Recommended way to drink: 5Ā°C to 10Ā°C Tasting Notes: Well-rounded, gently aromatic and surprisingly incisive. The Glendronach Revival 15 Years

$232.00
After ceasing production in 2015, The GlenDronach Revival Aged 15 years now returns to the core range of the distilleryā€™s line-up. The expression embodies The GlenDronachā€™s signature style of Spanish Sherry Cask maturation in fine Pedro XimĆ©nez and Oloroso sherry casks from AndalucĆa, quietly growing in stature for 15 years in the darkness of our dunnage warehouses. In flavour, the expression offers sumptuous notes of dark fruits, rich chocolate and manuka honey with an enveloping, memorable finish worthy of this monumental maltā€™s history. This luxuriously sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and naturalĀ in colour.
  • Colour: Antique Bronze.
  • Nose: An intoxicating burst of maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate mint with hints of orange bitters and walnut liquer.
  • Taste: Honey-glazed apricot and ripe fig with a crescendo of black cherry, angelica and muscovado.
  • Finish: Long and enveloping with dark manuka honey, herbal bitters and dark chocolate.
Food Pairing: Appetizer (eg, Smoked Salmon*), and Snacks *Another faint puff of smoke works to tease hidden flavours from the salmon, including coffee beans and even mint. Both harbour coastal influences, and the brown sugar notes of the spirit temper any of the salmonā€™s residual bitterness.

Handpicked Capella Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

$52.80
Mornington Peninsula, Australia The 2017 vintage on the Mornington Peninsula was a classic one in which overall mild and stable conditions produced superb quality fruit and wines of great balance, finesse and longevity. Dubbed by some a ā€œGoldilocksā€ vintage, 2017 delivered just enough and not too much of everything. Vines ripened slowly, building great depth of flavour while retaining fine balance in sugar and acid. Harvest began in early-March, a little later than the long-term average, and somewhat of a relief after the record-early vintage of 2016. Fruit from select blocks at Capella Vineyard is handpicked, destemmed, and sorted by hand to ensure only the finest berries make it into this beautifully perfumed, supple and silky wine. The aromas are classic Pinot Noir ā€“ cherries, strawberries, and earthy spice - with the purity and perfume we have come to expect of Capella Vineyard. The palate combines power and grace with great texture and silky-smooth tannin. Recommended Serving Temperature: 15-17Ā°C Food Pairing: Peking Duck, Roasted Quail, Mushroom Risotto

Le Volte dellā€™ Ornellaia 2020

$49.00
Ruby red with purple reflections, Le Volte dell' Ornellaia 2020 has a vinous bouquet, releasing a complexity of aromas ranging from ripe red fruits, to Mediterranean scrub, up to delicate notes of tobacco and spices. The mouthfeel is soft and silky, but at the same time supported by a lively acidity that gives us a crisp, persistent finish. "A blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, the Ornellaia 2020 Le Volte dell'Ornellaia shows medium darkness and texture followed by a very primary and fruit-forward bouquet. There is a generous display of cherry, cassis and wild plum. On second nose, this easy and straightforward Tuscan blend reveals hints of spice, cardamon and polished river stone. In a hot vintage like this, the wine comes together nicely and rather effortlessly." - 90 points, Robert Parker

  • Finish: Crisp/Clean finish

Cocktail Ideas: Gentleman & Ginger

  • 50 ml Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack
  • Ginger beer or ale of lime
Is there a difference between ginger beer and ginger ale?Ā  Quite a bit. Ginger beer is traditionally brewed and fermented like, well, a beer. Ginger ale on the other hand is a carbonated beverage made from water and ginger. Ginger beer tends to have much more of a "fiery ginger" kick, and itā€™s less carbonated and sweet than your fizzy ginger ales.

The London NĀ°1 Sherry Cask

$117.30
GonzĆ”lez Byass has launched a limited-edition Sherry-cask-aged London No.1 gin, with only 5,000 bottles due to be released each year. The London No.1 is matured for three months in Jerez in Sherry casks that have been used to age fino brand TĆo Pepe. The casks give the gin a pale golden colour, with ā€œhints of oak and Sherry notes mixing with juniperā€. The gin itself is made in London, with botanicals including lemon peel, liquorice and bergamot. It will be launched in 30 markets internationally as well as in bars worldwide. The London NĀŗ1 Sherry Cask, is the product obtained by the distillation in copper stills of a maceration of its 12 botanicals in alcohol of grain and later aging in American oak casks that have previously contained wine from Jerez (TĆo Pepe). This aging gives it a pale-yellow color due to the extraction of oak wood components. The gin goes through an aging process of 3 months in these sherry casks that have previously contained TĆo Pepe for more than 10 years. It has an alcohol content of 43 degrees which is the most suitable for the best assembly of each and every one of the aromatic characters of the gin and wood. Tasting Notes: The London NĀŗ1 Sherry Cask has a pleasant, fragrant aroma with notes of juniper berries and mix of botanicals, enhanced by a subtle touch of wood with vinous sensations. Smooth, elegant and complex on the palate, with well-integrated notes of alcohol and wood. Long and velvety finish.
