Cocchi Brachetto d’Acqui
BRACHETTO D’ACQUI
The most characteristic of sweet red sparkling wines, it has been a constant throughout the history of Piedmontese wine. It grows on the gently rolling hills of the Upper Monferrato area, and ever since antiquity Acqui Terme has been its terroir of choice, and a diverse one, where this aromatic varietal finds its best expression
GRAPE VARIETY
100% Brachetto d’Acqui
VINIFICATION AND SPARKLING WINE MAKING
Bunches of grapes are harvested by hand and immediately pressed to obtain a very sweet and cherry red must, which will then ferment in autoclave. Thanks to this technique, the aromatic qualities of the grape pass to the wine, releasing its intense scent of rose and raspberry.
TASTING NOTES
Cherry red with light notes and a joyful foam; vibrant, fresh and stylish bouquet with an intense scent of rose; gentle, slightly tannic to balance the sweet aroma and grant a pleasant persistence.
It is the perfect party wine that goes naturally well with fresh fruits, pastries or elaborate desserts.
A young wine to be served chilled; ideal for bars and patisseries, it can be best presented in cup-shaped glasses with a garnish of wild berries.
Chateau de Pommard Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2016
The juice dedicated to our Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2016 is placed into French oak barrels where it undergoes both fermentation and aging. The wine isn’t filtered, nor racked during these processes, which allows it to keep its lees. These natural deposits bring complexity and depth while enhancing the freshness of the wine.
Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2016 is a vibrant and refined white wine. Its clear lemon color hides a very intense nose of white flowers, lemon, pear and white peaches, lined with notes of fresh mushrooms and chalky minerality. On the palate, the same flavors are expressed, concentrated and multi-layered yet elegant and well defined. The finish is long, with a lingering minerality expressive of this unique terroir.

CHARDONNAY | 2023
CASABLANCA VALLEY
BRIGHT • LUSCIOUS • SMOOTH
This Chardonnay seduces with its fresh and expressive aromas of pear , pineapple , quince, nectarine , zesty lemon and intertwined with notes of toasted oak. A vibrant purity of fruit, a beautiful texture and a good length on the palate give the wine a pleasant balance.
This vintage in Casablanca presented good conditions starting in spring, setting us up for excellent flowering and fruit set. Harvest began the last week of February, which was slightly delayed from what we had planned. However, things sped up and we had a very good ripening curve, especially at the end of the season. This year, the first varieties to be harvested were Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, having received very good temperatures from October onwards.
This Chardonnay is silky and mineral and is without a doubt an elegant and expressive wine.

"An enticing blend of dusty rose, cinnamon and clove gives way to lifting traces of mint and dried strawberries as the sweetly spiced 2018 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Lupi e Sirene blossoms in the glass. This is pure elegance, with velvety textures guided by fresh acidity and polished red and blue fruits complicated by a savory herbal thrust toward the close. The balance here is otherworldly. The 2018 finishes with unexpected vibrancy despite a web of fine tannins that grumble on as licorice notes slowly fade. Packed full of character and holding its power in reserve, the 2018 is a textural thrill ride. This is on a beautiful, yet slow, path to maturity." - VINOUS

This balances silky textures with vividly ripe wild berry fruits, zesty orange and juicy acidity in a way that I find wildly attractive.
