La Marca Prosecco

$43.00
Our delicate La Marca Prosecco has a pale, golden straw colour and sparkles with lively effervescence. Opening with aromas of fresh-picked citrus and honeysuckle blossoms, the crisp, clean palate brings fruity flavours of green apple, juicy peach and ripe lemon, framed by hints of minerality. The finish is light and refreshing with a tantalizing hint of sweetness. The grapes for La Marca Prosecco were selected with great care from small vineyards throughout the Prosecco DOC, from the Glera grape. La Marca Prosecco has the charm to stand alone as an aperitif, but it also has the body and the acidity to pair well with a range of foods, from seafood and mild cheeses to rich pasta dishes and decadent desserts. La Marca adds sparkle to bubbly brunch bites, like classic eggs benedict, chorizo chilaquiles or chicken and waffles. For a crisp and vibrant dinner party, pair Prosecco alongside fresh-caught crab or fish tacos with endive slaw, goat cheese flatbread pizza or roasted chicken with creamy lemon La Marca sauce.

Braised venison with rosemary served with a patato puree, fillet mignon with a balsamic glaze served with sauted potatoes, pepper fillet steak served with shoe string French fries. Silky but substantial tannins underscore the finish, while a pretty mineral edge chimes through. Grenache, MourvĆØdre and Cinsault. Best from 2019 through 2035. 150 cases made, 50 cases imported." - 94 points, James Molesworth,Ā Senior Editor and Special Projects Director at Wine Spectator

There wouldn't be an apple without an apple tree and there wouldn't be Jack without an oak tree. After all, our American white oak barrels are more than a container for the whiskey; theyā€™re really an ingredient. All of our Tennessee Whiskeys draw their rich amber color and a good part of their distinctive flavor from the barrel it matures in. We couldnā€™t make the perfect whiskey for this drink without them.

Jack Danielā€™s Old No. 7

$9.00$59.90
Mellowed drop by drop through 10-feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in handcrafted barrels of our own making. And our Tennessee Whiskey doesnā€™t follow a calendar. Itā€™s only ready when our tasters say it is. We judge it by the way it looks. By its aroma. And of course, by the way it tastes. Itā€™s how Jack Daniel himself did it over a century ago. And how we still do it today. Nose : Caramel with mild hints of banana Taste : Balanced caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, medium bodied. Finish : Creamy/Clean finish

Woodford ReserveĀ® Very Fine Rare Bourbon

$211.00
In the 1830ā€™s our Woodford County distillery was the setting for a series of discoveries and innovative practices that would define the bourbon industry for generations to come. For this 2020 Masterā€™s Collection release Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall have drawn upon the rich history of that time and their own careers for inspiration. Local newspapers from the 19th century highlighted auctions of highly aged Bourbon barrel lots as being ā€œVery Fineā€ and ā€œRare.ā€ The very rare barrels of Woodford Reserve featured in this Masterā€™s Collection date back to the first year Morris became our Master Distiller. He and McCall have held them back from inclusion in their standard batching process to inaugurate this new package. ā€œDue to the heat-cycled warehousing at Woodford Reserve our product yield is extremely low. This makes a longer aged product at Woodford Reserve an extremely difficult accomplishment and therefore something that is quite rare.ā€œ ā€“ Elizabeth McCall The result is the Fall 2020 Masterā€™s Collection release named Very Fine Rare Bourbon, a rich and darkly robust expression of Woodford Reserve Bourbon. TASTE NOTES
  • Aroma : Layers of rich oak sweet aromatic notes, caramel, brown sugar, chocolate, vanilla merge into a cured tobacco character brightened with apple fruit.
  • Taste : Very old oak notes sweetened with honey balanced by a touch of citrus and apple peel and a touch of clove spice.

Kokuryu Daiginjo Ryu

$115.90
After the founder returned from France, he applied wine aging to sake and released it in 1975. At the time, it was the most expensive sake in Japan, which was a turning point for the brewery. It was also the first in the industry to use the now-common expression "Daiginjoā€. At that time, a label with a dragon stamped in gold foil was used on the sake bag used to press the sake. THis Daiginjo is fruity and soft with the notes of apple, peach, melon and strawberry. Fermented at low temperature, it is mellow with pleasant acidity and umami. Mildly dry and crisp, it is easy-drinking and delicious. REMARKS: The sake has been pasteurized, so it can be delivered at room temperature. However, cold temperature is suggested for long-term storage. Recommended way to drink: 5Ā°C to 10Ā°C Tasting Notes: Well-rounded, gently aromatic and surprisingly incisive. Grade:Ā Daiginjo Rice:Ā Yamada Nishiki Rice Polishing Ratio: 40% rice polishing Nihonshu-do (SMV):Ā +4
