Amuse Bouche Au Sommet 2021
Au Sommet Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
"Blackberries, dark plums, cedar, dried herbs, stones and forest floor on the nose follow through to a full body with plush tannins and texture. It's rich yet balanced with a fresh array of blackberries at the center an a constant frame of spices bringing vitality and giving lift to a juicy fruit on the palate. Well crafted and harmonious with a precise, long finish." - James Suckling, November 2023 "The 2021 Au Sommet is a classy, elegant wine, and also one of the most restrained Cabernets readers will find on Atlas Peak. Blood orange, mint, exotic spice and dried flowers add nuance to a host of dark red fruit flavors. Medium in body and driving, the 2021 is wonderfully vibrant from beginning to end. The long, translucent finish rounds things out in style. Give this a few years to soften." - Antonio Galloni, December 2023Orin Swift Papillon 2020
The dark crimson core and brick rim sets the stage, as aromas of currant, blackberry, blue fruits, anise, lavender and brioche float from the glass. Enveloping and coating becomes mixed berry pie, sarsaparilla, cola and blackcurrant with structured heft through the mid-palate. Chalky tannins a la black tea or baking chocolate round out the wine with a pleasing finish of sweet oak.

Podere Le Ripi Cielo d’Ulisse 2018
Deep dark with lighter shadows, flavors are quite complex and the progression of different fragrances is endless, beginning with smaller black and red fruits, all surrounded by a hidden scent of blackberries and brackish water. Our vineyards on the western slopes are surrounded by a fresh forest and very close to the Ombrone river. This means that they can handle well warmer seasons, like 2018. This is why the wine was able to maintain a nice dynamic taste, light without it being too sweet. The structure and texture of it are making us hope for great aging potential.
Luce 2020
Intense ruby red in color, Luce 2020 stands out on the nose for its complexity and elegance, characterized by ripe black fruits, particularly blackberry and mulberry, which are joined by hints of cocoa and sweet spices. On the palate it is harmonious, lively, with excellent structure, balanced by vibrant acidity and soft, silky tannins that give an elegant finish with great persistence.
Food Pairing: Beef, Lamb, Veal, Poultry, Cured Meat "Very pretty orange peel with currants and blue berries. Flowers, too. Medium to full body with firm and velvety tannins that are polished and impressive. Fresh fruit at the end. Serious structure and brightness." - 95 points, James Suckling "The nose is dense and powerful, exhibiting lush black fruits and chocolate, and it became more perfumed with aeration. The attack is zesty and vigorous, spicy and assertive, but there's no excessive extraction and the tannins are polished. Despite a hint of tar and liquorice, the black fruits dominate. Well balanced, with both grip and texture, and a very long finish, this will age well." - 95 points, DecanterCoup de Foudre Pinot Noir 2021
Situated at the top of Kings Ridge Road along the Sonoma Coast, the Pinot Noir Vineyard overlooks the Pacific ocean and basks in ample sun and fog at a 2000 feet elevation. The coastal fog keeps it cool in the mornings, but the ridge exposure allows for ample ripening. Strawberry preserve, anise, and spicy notes leap out of the glass. While fresh red fruit and hints of cherry are enveloped by subtle warm toasty oak nuances.
The firm acidity and smooth tannin profile are perfectly balanced.
Only 8 barrels.
