After all, our American white oak barrels are more than a container for the whiskey; they’re really an ingredient. All of our Tennessee Whiskeys draw their rich amber color and a good part of their distinctive flavor from the barrel it matures in. We couldn’t make the perfect whiskey for this drink without them.

Woodford Reserve® Very Fine Rare Bourbon

In the 1830’s our Woodford County distillery was the setting for a series of discoveries and innovative practices that would define the bourbon industry for generations to come. For this 2020 Master’s Collection release Master Distiller Chris Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall have drawn upon the rich history of that time and their own careers for inspiration. Local newspapers from the 19th century highlighted auctions of highly aged Bourbon barrel lots as being “Very Fine” and “Rare.” The very rare barrels of Woodford Reserve featured in this Master’s Collection date back to the first year Morris became our Master Distiller. He and McCall have held them back from inclusion in their standard batching process to inaugurate this new package. “Due to the heat-cycled warehousing at Woodford Reserve our product yield is extremely low. Nomad Outland Whisky

NOMAD, the first outland whisky on the market. A premium blended whisky produced from a unique selection of over 30 different malt and grain whiskies from Speyside, The Highlands, Scotland, each 5 to 8 years old. The resulting blend is left to mature in Scotland in sherry casks for 3 years, altogether, before being transferred to Jerez where it will be finished for a mínimum of 12 months in old Pedro Ximenez casks in the San Fernando cellar of González Byass. This double ageing, firstly in Scotland then in Jerez is unique, and makes Nomad Outland Whisky a true rarity. Bright amber in colour, Nomad shows a concentrated aroma with notes of malt, wood and the unmistakable hint of Pedro Ximenez sherry. On the palate it is very smooth and elegant, initial flavours of raisins and honey build to a long and pleasant finish with notes of vanilla and dried fruits. A very elegant yet complex whisky.

Ginger ale on the other hand is a carbonated beverage made from water and ginger. Ginger beer tends to have much more of a "fiery ginger" kick, and it’s less carbonated and sweet than your fizzy ginger ales.

The London N°1 Sherry Cask

González Byass has launched a limited-edition Sherry-cask-aged London No.1 gin, with only 5,000 bottles due to be released each year. The London No.1 is matured for three months in Jerez in Sherry casks that have been used to age fino brand Tío Pepe. The casks give the gin a pale golden colour, with “hints of oak and Sherry notes mixing with juniper”. The gin itself is made in London, with botanicals including lemon peel, liquorice and bergamot. It will be launched in 30 markets internationally as well as in bars worldwide. The London Nº1 Sherry Cask, is the product obtained by the distillation in copper stills of a maceration of its 12 botanicals in alcohol of grain and later aging in American oak casks that have previously contained wine from Jerez (Tío Pepe). This aging gives it a pale-yellow color due to the extraction of oak wood components. The gin goes through an aging process of 3 months in these sherry casks that have previously contained Tío Pepe for more than 10 years. It has an alcohol content of 43 degrees which is the most suitable for the best assembly of each and every one of the aromatic characters of the gin and wood. Tasting Notes: The London Nº1 Sherry Cask has a pleasant, fragrant aroma with notes of juniper berries and mix of botanicals, enhanced by a subtle touch of wood with vinous sensations. Smooth, elegant and complex on the palate, with well-integrated notes of alcohol and wood. Long and velvety finish.

Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin

An award-winning range of products from the 200 year old Avadis Distillery, infused with Riesling from the 275 year old Zilliken winery; Ferdinand’s owes its name to the Prussian District Forester, Ferdinand Geltz, who also co-founded the VDP Mosel Saar Ruwer Zilliken estate, one of Germany’s finest vineyards. Carefully hand-picked Riesling grapes from the steep shale slopes of the Zilliken estate on the grand Saarburger Rausch site make our gin a unique taste experience. Pot still production in small batches. The raw distillate produced from their own grain is distilled several times to form the basis for a selection of 34 hand-picked herbs, spices and fruits, which are carefully macerated to produce an eau-de-vie. The addtional use of a steam infusion of freshly harvested herbs adds unique fresh floral notes to their gin, which is rounded off with a precise measure of Schiefer Riesling. Having been left to rest for a period of 4 weeks in stoneware, Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin is set to a drinking strength of 44% abv using deminerlised water, then finally bottled.
