We selected the best quality bunches of grapes to make our Beronia Tempranillo Elaboración Especial with. 100% Tempranillo. Both alcoholic and the subsequent malolactic fermentation were completed in 225-litre American oak barrels, in which the wine was left to age for a further five months, with regular bâtonnage. Last of all, the wine was bottled in May 2020 and kept for at least 5 months prior to release. Beronia Tempranillo Elaboración Especial is a deep picota cherry colour. On the nose it displays prominent aromas of roasted coffee, toffee and hazelnut, with fresh fruit in the background. Notes of chocolate complement the palette of aromas. The character of the grape variety reveals itself rapidly on the palate, with red berries and liquorice most prominent. This is a fresh, full-bodied wine with well-integrated tannins. Beronia Tempranillo Elaboración Especial is a perfect match for smoked and salted foods and pâté as well as for red meat, roasts and ibérico cured meats.

Beronia Reserva 2015

Beronia Reserva is made from a selection of the best grapes from the oldest Tempranillo (95%), Graciano (4%) and Mazuelo (1%) vineyards. After being cold macerated prior to fermentation then fermented at a controlled temperature of between 26 and 28°C with regular pumping over to extract the desired aromas and colour, the wine was left for 19 months in French and American oak barrels and French oak barrels used to store two different wines. As result, the wine developed at a measured, even pace. It then completed its ageing in bottle for at least 17 months prior to being released. Beronia Reserva 2015 is a deep black cherry colour, clean and bright with a garnet rim. Attractive and appealing on the nose, it displays intense aromas of ripe fruit and herbs over a spicy background, along with distinct mineral notes and hints of tobacco leaf and white pepper that add complexity and youthfulness. On the palate, the most outstanding flavours are of fresh, acidic fruit over a sweet background of cacao and mint notes that make it quite appealing. With sweet, balanced tannins, Beronia Reserva is rounded, well-bodied, flavoursome and persistent whilst also displaying balanced acidity. Perfect for drinking with roasts, char-grilled cutlets, Ibérico cured meats and mature cheese. Recommended for drinking until 2027.

Beronia Reserva 2017

Beronia Reserva is made from a selection of the best grapes from the oldest Tempranillo vines, plus some Graciano y Mazuelo. After a spell undergoing cold pre-fermentation maceration and controlled fermentation with periodic pumping over to extract the desired colour and aromas, the wine spent 18 months in mixed French and American oak barrels to create the unmistakable “Beronia Style”. Lastly the wine was left to rest in the bottle a further 18 months before being released to the market. Beronia Reserva 2017 is a deep black plum colour, clean and bright with a garnet rim. Attractive and intriguing on the nose it displays nutty aromas – roasted almonds, walnuts – followed by notes of plum primarily but also ripe fruit and a pleasant hint of white pepper, which all add complexity and freshness. Full bodied the palate, the wine displays balanced acidity. The flavours are mostly of ripe fruit, whilst the finish is sweet and smooth, bringing to mind cacao and roasted hazelnuts. This is a delicious wine, best enjoyed unhurriedly. A perfect accompaniment to roast meat, grilled cutlets, cured Ibérico meats and mature cheese. Recommended for drinking until 2029. This wine is suitable for vegans.

For the fourth release of “F”, we have again incorporated some of the best regions in France, drawing upon our network of growers from Rhone, Roussillon, and Bordeaux. Our commitment to quality and our hands-on approach has enabled us to secure fruit from some exceptional old vine blocks located in revered sub-appellations of this great country. With some history of production now under our belt, we’ve had time to nurture our relationships with our growers while introducing new sites which we’re excited about. It is our constant quest to be better each year that drives us to over deliver, which we believe we have achieved with this wine. A dominant nose of raspberry, rhubarb, and wild strawberry are complemented by savoury aromas of humid tobacco, lavender and rose petal. An immediate entry of cranberry and other red fruit leads to a touch of savouriness. -e wine is fresh and lively with great acidity and approachable tannins. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and assorted Bordeaux varietals Barrel aged 10 months prior to release.

Sourced from diverse vineyard blocks within the state’s best growing regions, we now know what he was talking about. Deep purple in color, the wine brims with aromas of wild blueberries, cassis, and pleasing notes of forest floor. e palate is initially treated to dense flavors of plum, milk chocolate and framboise. Following, a delightful interplay of violet, anise, black tea, and brown spices soon emerge giving further character to the wine. Silky tannins encapsulate things with a very pure and true finish. A blend of Syrah, Merlot, and Petit Sirah Barrel aged 10 months in French and American oak barrels.

The Tempranillo (96%), Graciano (3%) and Mazuelo (1%) grapes were cold-macerated for several days prior to alcoholic fermentation, which was kept at below 26ºC, with regular pumping over. Next, the Beronia 198 Barricas Reserva Especial 2011 began its ageing process, in mixed oak barrels made of American oak staves and French oak ends, where it remained for 24 months before finally being bottled and continuing to age for at least a further 24 months. Beronia 198 Barricas Reserva Especial 2011 is a very deep, intense garnet colour. On the nose it displays notes of ripe fruit – prunes, dried apricot – with a touch of roasted coffee at the end. Hints of spice such as white pepper come through next together with nutty aromas (almond) and balsamic notes that add freshness. Fresh fruit such as cranberry dominates on the palate, followed by notes of chocolate and cocoa that build up to a sensation of sweetness on the palate. The tannins are ripe and the wine is long and well balanced. A perfect accompaniment to roast meat, grilled cutlets, cured Ibérico meats and mature cheese. Recommended consumption from now until 2026.

The Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo grapes were cold macerated prior to fermentation for several days. Alcoholic fermentation followed, at a temperature kept below 26oC, with regular pumping over. Next, we started the ageing process for Beronia 198 Barricas Reserva Especial 2012, with the wine left for two years in mixed oak barrels made of American oak staves and French oak ends. Lastly, the wine was bottled and left to age for a further two years in bottle. Beronia 198 Barricas Reserva Especial 2012 is a deep, intense garnet colour. On the nose it first displays notes of ripe fruit, prunes and dried apricots, with cocoa in the background. Balsamic notes emerge next, adding freshness, along with nutty aromas. In the mouth it displays remarkable elegant tannins and balanced acidity, which deliver great freshness, followed by hints of chocolate and cocoa on the palate, culminating in a sweet finish. This is a rounded, long, balanced wine, best enjoyed when drunk unhurriedly. Ideal for drinking with roasts, stews, grilled meat, cured meat and mature cheese. Recommended for drinking until 2032.
