Domaine Albert Mann Pinot Noir Les Saintes Claires 2021

$165.00
The vines, which are at least 25 years old, were planted near the Grand Cru Mambourg above the Clarisses monastery in Sigolsheim. The yields here are only 26 hl/ha. Ruby red color, beautiful shine. The nose is discreet with a floral touch as well as notes of mara strawberries. In the mouth, a precision, a depth, a radiance that makes you want to repeat endlessly. Beautiful body hold, this racy wine reveals superb liveliness. A touch on the palate with notes of velvet. It has a rigor and a solar tone which underline its raw material and allow this Pinot Noir to give a very gastronomic dimension.

Yangarra Noir 2021

$69.00
Grenache is the emerging hero variety of McLaren Vale. Traditional blends of Grenache from the region focused on the varieties Grenache (G), Shiraz (S) and Mourvedre (M), and thus the term GSM. For many years in the old-world Grenache had many more blending partners. In France, namely the Sourthern Rhone, it can be blended with Cinsaut, Counouise, Picpoul Noir, Muscardin. In Priorat Spain, with Carignan. We started planting some of these obscure Southern Rhone and Priorat varieties in 2008 which has culminated in our first Noir blend being produced. Many of these varieties, including Grenache, have a blanc (white), gris (grey) and noir (black) expression of the variety, which lead to calling this the Noir. Kept on lees in 100% older French oak for 6 months after fermentation. VARIETY: 45% Grenache, 19% MourvƩdre, 19% Carignan, 12% Shiraz, 4% Cinsaut, 1% Counoise "A bright assemblage of fresh red-fruit aromas and flavors with crisp, easygoing texture and a neat, succulent finish. 62% grenache, 15% shiraz, 12% mourvedre, 6% carignan, 3% cinsault and 2% counoise. Drink now. Screw cap." - 91 points, James Suckling

Vin Perdu Napa Valley Red Blend 2021

$188.00
We've all asked ourselves the proverbial question: If I were stranded on an island with only one bottle of wine, what bottle would that be This age-old and daunting conundrum inspired this year's label. You will find that the label not only tackles the question (man stranded, what to drink) butā€¦ with a mere twist of the wrist ā€” or a quick flip of the lenticular image ā€” it also poses a solution: drink more wine while the going is good! Why wait for the cliche stranding, the next climate event, economic upheaval? We produce Vin Perdu, our "lost wine," with the philosophy that no good wine should be wasted, and we all should seize every moment lest we lose them forever. After a two-year hiatus due to the smoke-tainted vintage in 2020, we are pleased to offer you an allocation of Vin Perdu 2021 Napa Valley Red Blend. This wine sells out quickly due to its deliciously complex contents, great-value price point and one-of-kind label. Please note that this product is ONLY available for PRE-ORDER. Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Red Blend 2021

$430.00
It is with great honor and excitement that we offer you the 2021 vintage of Amuse Bouche, featuring artwork by renowned French artist Marc Clauzade. His piece entitled "Casse Croute" (which roughly translates to "tasty snack") portrays the beautiful chaos of a kitchen scene ā€” its vibrant colors an apt illustration of Julia Childā€™s famous quote. You may remember that Marc's portrayal of the lady in the red dress, "Le Bar a Vin," adorned our label more than a decade ago. The 2021 harvest was excellent, but our overall production was down 35% (smaller berries but loaded with flavor) due to the persistent drought conditions of this growing season. Amuse Bouche 2021, crafted in the Pomerol-style, is a blend of 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc from our vineyards in the east Rutherford Hills of Napa Valley.

BenMarco Sin Limites Malbec Gualtallary 2021

$49.60
BenMarco Sin LĆmites Gualtallary is a Malbec that reflects the terroir calcareous nature. On the nose, hints of pepper, especially pink pepper, and calcareous notes predominate, while on the mouth the austerity and grainy texture stand out. Incomparably long finish and great definition. When first smelt, it can be perceived as shy or tight, so decanting is recommended. It is aged in second and third-use French oak barrels for 12 months. Given its complex, austere, and affable profile, it is very versatile for pairing. It can be matched with lamb, soft cheeses, and all kinds of red meat. "Racy and spicy red fruit profile on the nose with a hint of thyme and white pepper. The pure, medium-bodied palate has good intensity of flavors. Juicy and even in the middle with a vibrant finish. Composed and well-poised. More elegant than 2020. Drink now or hold." - 94 points, James Suckling

Veramonte Sauvignon Blanc 2021

$33.90
SAUVIGNON BLANC | 2021 CASABLANCA VALLEY VIBRANT ā€¢ CRISP ā€¢ FRESH Vibrant and aromatic, with citrus aromas of lime and tangerine, blended with subtle floral notes. Smooth and fresh, this Sauvignon Blanc has a great mouthfeel and a long finish. After several years the 2021 harvest started by the end of February in what we refer to as ā€œnormal timingā€, the main reason is given that we had a colder season that led into a slower maturation curve, thus accomplishing a more homogeneous process that brought complexity and intensity to the grapes. The characteristics of this harvest derived in moderate yields, which benefited the concentration of the fruit, allowing for its origins and variety to express themselves to its full potential. As always, the first variety to be harvested was our Sauvignon Blanc, this year surprised us with great aromatic potential, both fresh and expressive. Being the result of a cold year, it delivers freshness in the mouth, with a long crispy acidity at the end. Recommended Serving Temperature: 10Ā°C Food Pairing: Oysters, White fish, Salads "This has aromas of white peaches, sliced apples, lemons, fresh pears and flint. Subtle smoked-almond notes. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture and fresh acidity. Nice mineral edge. From organically grown grapes with Ecocert certification. Vegan. Sustainable. Drink now. Screw cap." - 90 points, James Suckling
