Colombian Ortodoxy
Ortodoxy is based on the formula of Dario Parra, former president of the company, and lover of gin. After his many extended visits to the UK and of course, enjoying what was for him God’s drink, he returned to Colombia determined to create a Colombian Gin. Back home he studied several formulas, based on his experience, and finally created Ortodoxy Gin. For years, the Ortodoxy was produced only for his own personal consumption, never dreaming that his invention could one day become an internationally sold gin. The formula of berries, botanicals, peels, roots, and spices gives the Ortodoxy gin a unique taste profile.
Colour: In the glass, Ortodoxy Gin is full of light and body, proof of its quality and clarity.
Aroma: On the nose it displays a balance of the bitterness of the roots, the freshness of the botanicals, the sweet and sour of berries and peels, and the warmth of the spices. The initial aroma is of the juniper and the angelica combined with mint, lemon and pepper. The secondary aromas of cinnamon, blueberry, and ginger merge to create a classic dry gin.
Palate: In the mouth it is flavourful and smooth, along with the astringency, sweet and sour of classic gin. At 43% alcohol, this gin mixes well with a wide range of tonics.
Dictador Aged 12 Years
Rum is made from the fermentation of virgin sugar cane honey distilled partly in copper alembic and partly in a steel continuous column, to achieve our signature medium-bodied rum. Aged in oak barrels and then bottled under caring, expert eyes, so we can ensure the final liquid is of the highest quality – and all our flavours remain intact.
Light copper colour with amber highlights, an intense aroma of soft caramel, honey, dry seeds and lightly roasted coffee giving way to medium oak aromas. Soft and round feel in the mouth with caramel, cocoa, and honey light coffee flavours and a finish of light oak with complexity of lingering flavours. It’s a medium-bodied, complex blend of premium aged rums with full, rich flavours.
Colombian Treasure
Treasure is based on a unique Colombian fruit Limon Mandarino (Tangerine-Lemon) which blends the exotic sweet taste of the tangerine and the acidity of the lemon to give fantastic balance. The base spirit for the Colombian Gin is made from a neutral spirit distilled up to five times from sugar cane. The berries, botanicals, spices, and citrus peels when combined with the ageing process merge to create our unique Gin.
Colombian Treasure Gin. To give an extraordinary smoothness to the Colombian Treasure Gin we place the spirit in oak barrels previously used to age our Dictador rums for 35 weeks. The combination of the balance of the exotic citrus peel and the time spent in barrels gives our gin the freshness and smoothness necessary to be able to savour it with just a few ice cubes.
Colour: In the glass it has a slight amber colour reflective of the time spent in a barrel. Its clarity and brightness boast of a truly revolutionary product.
Aroma: The initial aroma is of tangerine enhanced with lemon notes. The secondary aroma is of the botanicals that provide freshness and balance. Mint, spearmint and pepper and a bit of sweetness from the wood and berries.
Palate: The pleasant notes and roundness from the tangerine, lemon, mint and pepper, with the traditional flavours of gin enhanced by the time spent in oak barrels results in a unique gin.

Dictador 2 Masters Despagne 1980
A 37 year-old Dictador Rum from a 1980 single vintage cask finished in sherry casks then shipped to Despagne, Entre-deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France. The rum spent 6 months in this barrel, originally filled up with Château Mont Pérat Bordeaux red wine, one of the Despagne flagships from the family. Matured in: Francis cooper, Selmer barrel, light heat, made from a mix of oak wood from North East French forests, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Nose : The dark ripe fruit from Château Mont Pérat Bordeaux red wine comes through as an overlay of brambleberries, dried cherries and huckleberry sauce over soft sherry- infused maple syrup and Madagascar vanilla beans. Truly complex, indeed.
Palate : An overwhelming marriage of dark fruits and sweet rum, giving it layer upon layer of rich textured mouthfeel with tons of dried fruits and wine influences. The finish is magnificent and has touches of a French summer countryside fruit basket with rich sherry-infused oak character.
Colour : Deep and nearly inky-bronze coloured rum with ultra-high viscosity and flashes of golden bronze at the edges
Matured in Selmer barrel, light heat
Time of Finishing: 6 months

Nose : Great complexity and soft vanilla extract, crème caramel, almond butter, banana leaf esters, punctuated by dried apples and figs, as well as powerful phenols.
Palate : It expands and coats the palate with rich dark chocolate, mocha and toasted pecans as an overlay to the more expansive sea-salt caramel and maple bar, going into a long supple finish that lingers with nice touches of caramel apple and high-grade marzipan.
Color : Dark and brooding mahogany with brass accents, going out into a fine light golden rim with high viscosity and nice ‘legs’ showing in the glass.
Matured in Black Gascon oak cask
Time of Finishing: 6 months
Dictador 2 Masters Chateau d’Arche 1980
A 37 year-old Dictador Rum from a 1980 single vintage cask finished in whisky barrels then shipped to Château d’Arche in Sauternes, Bordeaux, France, where it further spent six months in American oak barrels of 225 litres. It is a typical size for Bordeaux wines. This barrel has been filled up with Château d’Arche for the vintage 2014.
Nose : A plethora of sweetness with vanilla crème brulée, dark caramel-coated chocolate and plenty of dried fruits including figs, dates and quince, then hints of toasted bread and orange rind.
Palate : Quite an interesting marriage with marzipan, dried apricots and cloudberry marmalade over maple syrup, milk chocolate and crème brulée. Once the initial burn dissipates, true rum character comes through overtaking the “foreign” flavours and it finishes nicely with a relatively balanced supple golden fruit cake with hints of toast. Fine and supple.
Color : A firm dark bronze going out into a lighter golden hue at the rim, showing high viscosity with fine long legs in the glass.

Dictador 2 Masters Leclerc Briant 1979

Nose : Surprisingly rich, mellow buttered caramel overtones with greener new French oak nuances, toasted coconut, vanilla stalk and salted caramel with freshness and nuttiness.
Palate : A rich, expansive complexity with maple bar over vanilla yoghurt, then honeyed berry character and grape juice. On the mid-palate it changes character and begins its slow lingering route back to the origins of the rum with condensed sugar cane juice, evaporated milk and hints of honeysuckle flowers.
Colour : Deep golden bronze with lovely graduating layers of mahogany to the rim, showing excellent viscosity in the glass.
Matured in French Oak “Chaue Légère” (light toast)
Time of Finishing: 8 months
Dictador 2 Masters Hardy Summer Blend 1976/1978
Dictador rum single vintage casks 1976 and 1978 finished in Sherry casks and then shipped to Hardy in Cognac, where it was further carefully blended by Master Bouilly who used his Chauffe Légère 350 liters oak cask from 1954 for the process. The rum spent at least 7 months in Cognac cask and due to the taste profile was called ÉTÉ which means SUMMER.
Nose : Immediate vanilla, fudge and butterscotch, but a character reminiscent of a great Cognac as well with some dried figs and apricots, then pencil shavings and hints of damp earth. Truly rich and complex.
Palate : This heady tipple coats the palate with an impressive array of flavonoids including an overlay of nutmeg on milk chocolate, toffee, sea-salt caramel and a beautiful softness without the sweetness, a great marriage. There is a rise on the mid-palate before it fades slowly into a minute-long supple and silky finish that is pierced only by flashes of oak, pure rum character and raisins.
Color : A deep mahogany with flashes of gold and bronze out to the rim, showing immense viscosity with long painted legs in the glass.
Matured in Chauffe Légère 1954
Time of Finishing: 7 months
