Beronia Reserva 2015
Beronia Reserva is made from a selection of the best grapes from the oldest Tempranillo (95%), Graciano (4%) and Mazuelo (1%) vineyards. After being cold macerated prior to fermentation then fermented at a controlled temperature of between 26 and 28°C with regular pumping over to extract the desired aromas and colour, the wine was left for 19 months in French and American oak barrels and French oak barrels used to store two different wines. As result, the wine developed at a measured, even pace. It then completed its ageing in bottle for at least 17 months prior to being released. Beronia Reserva 2015 is a deep black cherry colour, clean and bright with a garnet rim. Attractive and appealing on the nose, it displays intense aromas of ripe fruit and herbs over a spicy background, along with distinct mineral notes and hints of tobacco leaf and white pepper that add complexity and youthfulness. On the palate, the most outstanding flavours are of fresh, acidic fruit over a sweet background of cacao and mint notes that make it quite appealing. With sweet, balanced tannins, Beronia Reserva is rounded, well-bodied, flavoursome and persistent whilst also displaying balanced acidity. Perfect for drinking with roasts, char-grilled cutlets, Ibérico cured meats and mature cheese. Recommended for drinking until 2027.

Bodega Contador Benjamin Romeo Coleccion No. 1 La Vina de Andres Romeo 2015
It is a monovarietal Tempranillo aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. It has an intense purple garnet tone with a high layer and great density. On the nose it is deep with notes of the very ripe Tempranillo variety and mineral notes. In the mouth it is fresh but with volume, greasiness, fat and a lot of sweetness, with a very pleasant and long finish. Perfect to accompany sausages, stewed meats and grilled meats. This vintage has a score of 94 Parker and 96 Peñín.
The red flagship 2015 Contador was selected from vines over 60 years of age, and it fermented in oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in new French oak barrels for 20 months. It feels like a great vintage for the top bottling, as it has enough ripeness and concentration but is also terribly elegant, floral and nuanced. 2015 was a warm and dry year with the risk of excessive wines, but this Contador is beautifully balanced and has a rare combination of concentration and lightness. There is a nice core of freshness that lifts the wine up and gives it length. 6,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2017. 100% Tempranillo
