Some of the oldest vines in Clos Marey-Monge, Chantrerie’s 2.41hectares of marly-clay soils produce a dark, rich and deep PinotNoir with a sweet palate. Known as the spirit of our vineyard, this old Lady benefits from one of the largest internal surfaces of clay in the Côte d’Or, worthy of a Grand Cru, just behind Simone’s record. Hand-harvested grapes, hand-sorted on a vibrating table. 100% de-stemmed, placed into stainless steel fermentation vats by gravity flow. Weeks-long maceration, minimal pumping-over and punching-down. Tasting Notes: Behind its intense ruby-purple color, our Chantrerie 2018 hides an aromatic bouquet marked by flowers and black fruits, revealing the feminine side of Pommard. The largest monopole in Burgundy, Clos Marey-Monge benefits from a unique environment, protected by a two-meter stone wall. Thousands of years ago, an underground spring flooded the 0.85 hectare of 75 Rangs with minerals. Planted in 1962 and 1964, this plot located at the lowest topographic position in the Clos Marey-Monge benefits from shallow and limestone-rich soil that produces a Pinot Noir rich in minerals with a salty finish. The 75 rows of the eponymous plot allow us to develop a wine with a ruby color, reputed to be the backbone of our Clos Marey-Monge Monopole. Tasting Notes: Its nose reveals aromas of rose and red fruit highlighted by iodine and mineral notes. The palate is fresh and deliciously chiseled. The tannins are silky and the wine's airy side is reinforced by a singular salinity. With its saline, mineraly finish, our 75 Rangs 2018 stands out as a refined wine built for aging. Underneath its dark color, this Pinot Noir explodes with aromas of elderberry, rose, and peony, nuanced by subtle smoky notes. The same flavors on the palate highlight the personality of this elegant and perfectly balanced wine. The tannins are silky and the oak is well integrated. Rimapere pinot noir comes from a single vineyard ideally located on the prestigious Rapaura Road, in the Wairau Valley, in the heart of the Marlborough region. This area’s cool climate and stony soil are perfect for ripening high-quality pinot noir. The name Rimapere, meaning “five arrows » in the Maori language, pays a dual tribute to the Rothschild family’s emblem and the traditional local culture.

• Winemaking: Cold soak (7C) for a week in temperature controlled stainless steel open top tanks. Part of ferments had whole bunch inclusion. Ferments for a week with indigenous yeasts with pumping over and gentle hand punching. One week post ferment maceration.
• Soil type: Rapaura Series, Stony Soil free draining, with a small Silty top layer
• Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir
• Food and wine: Can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, or with white meats (chicken), veal, and meat with a sauce (truffle, morel), or cheese.

Royal Oaks and King’s Wood were forests planted by monarchs to build cathedrals and navies. The wine is exclusively matured in 25hL French oak Foudre for 15 months. No pressings. Ironheart is the flagship Shiraz from our single vineyard estate at the northern edge of McLaren Vale. The wine was kept on lees in 35% new French oak, 65% older French oak for 15 months. Each barrel was carefully selected to ensure it showcases the characters of the ironstone that it grows in. "Squid-ink-purple colour, scents of plush boysenberry, balsamic flowers and coffee. A rush of flavour, sweet red and black cherries, bacon fat, dried herbs and vanilla bean cradled by a full-body with svelte tannins. Our Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre blend is inspired by the traditional estate blends of the southern Rhône. The Grenache is sourced from a combination of young and old bush vines. We select the most elegant and perfumed Shiraz and add Mourvèdre for fragrance and solid tannin structure. Each variety handled separately. Destemmed and selectively sorted in the winery. 50% whole berries retained. Wild yeast ferment. Each variety has a unique maceration, however a unifying principle of a very gentle pump over regime for a minimum of 14 days. The wine was matured in a mixture of older French oak puncheons and foudre, ceramic eggs and amphora. Certified Organic/Biodynamic. VARIETY: 53% Grenache Noir, 33% Shiraz, 14% Mourvèdre

The PF Shiraz is made from grapes grown on our certified biodynamic single estate vineyard, grown without herbicides, fungicides or synthetic chemicals. It is made without additions of any kind: sulphur (preservative), acid, tannin or finings. It’s a medium bodied, fresh, fruit driven wine that is delicious enjoyed as a young wine. With that in mind, we do have PF Shiraz back to our first vintage of 2013 that is still showing some of lovely vibrant characters. The wine was carefully basket pressed after approximately 2 weeks on skins. No additives were used throughout the entire production. No fining occurred, just filtration. VARIETY: 100% Shiraz "This is a very pure, super-young style of shiraz that is all about the unadulterated taste of blueberry and red-plum shiraz fruit.
