Chateau Saint-Pierre Esprit de Saint-Pierre 2016
ChĆ¢teau Saint Pierre, a discreet but excellent Grand Cru ClassĆ© of Saint Julien owned by Henri Martinās family. A fantastic history! Created in the 17th century, ChĆ¢teau Saint Pierre was divided and dispersed due to several successions, and then was restored as originally in 1982 by Henri Martin.
The second wine, Esprit de Saint Pierre is vinified with the same attention as the one paid to the āGrand Vinā. Only 17 hectares of vineyard ChĆ¢teau Saint Pierre have always been the smallest Cru ClassĆ© in the appellation which leads to limited quantities. A good ability to age as most Saint Julien wines thanks to Cabernet Sauvignon that is giving its best on that gravels terroir in the heart of the Saint Julien village. A very bright and fresh fruit expression Esprit is produced from the young vines of the Grand Cru ClassĆ© vineyard.
60% Cabernet Sauvignon , 22% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc
Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Rouge 2017
The Grand Cru ClassĆ© in red Malartic-LagraviĆØre appellation Pessac-LĆ©ognan vintage 2017 keeps all its promises and once again honors the tradition of wines from the Bordeaux region.
The Merlots, with the dry and warm June and July, are fleshy, round and aromatic. After the rains at the end of September, the Cabernets finish refining their tannins, preserving the freshness and thus offering extraordinary complexity, sap and silkiness.
65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
āRipe, with succulent plum, cassis and raspberry fruit paste flavors, lined with liquorice and anise details, showing a well-integrated apple wood note on the finish, backed by a light scoring of tar. Exhibits lots of compact energy, so this should unwind nicely in the cellar.ā ā James Molesworth at Wine Spectator
Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Blanc 2017
The white wines present exceptional quality. The cool August produced superbly balanced grapes, highlighting their aromatic profiles.
For the whites, the aromatic profiles are superb; the wines show a crisp line of acidity, good tightness and a pleasant sappiness, with plenty of fruit and a good quality framework.
80% Sauvignon, 20% SĆ©millon
āAttractive, fresh-lemon and grassy nuances with wild herbs and slightly flinty elements, too. The palate has such intense and fresh acidity. Fine lemons and limes and a thrillingly dry, long finish. ā ā Janvier at James Suckling

Curiosity leads to Culture leads to Sensitivity leads to Enthusiasm leads to Love leads to Magic leads to Universal Love. Because Everybody feels the Magic. Therefore, Curiosity is a Universal Gift.
- Francesco Illy
Deep dark with lighter shadows, flavors are quite complex and the progression of different fragrances is endless, beginning with smaller black and red fruits, all surrounded by a vibrant and lively scent of fermentation. If you are patient, such scents will be turning into floral notes like rose and velvety flowers. Our vineyards on the western slopes are surrounded by a fresh forest and very close to the Ombrone river. This means that they can handle well warmer seasons, exactly like 2017 has been. This is why the wine was able to maintain a nice dynamic taste, light without it being too sweet. At the same time the wine shows itself as quite ready and welcoming.
Ageing: 24 months aging in oak barrels and 20 months in cement
Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese
"Underbrush, new leather, tobacco and mature berry aromas along with whiffs of dried mint form the nose on this polished red. On the velvety smooth, delicious palate, dense, fine-grained tannins envelop fleshy Morello cherry, crushed raspberry, star anise and cinnamon. Drink through 2029." - Kerin O'Keefe, Wine Enthusiast
Waipara West N Block Chardonnay 2020
2020 vintage was the earliest in our 30 years at Waipara West. We had a warm, dry September and cool October were followed by our hottest November on record, this set up very favourable conditions for f lowering. Summer started with dry, slightly warmer conditions than normal for both December and January, followed by a dry, much warmer than average February, this put much of the east coast of New Zealand, including North Canterbury into drought. March brought a break in the heat and some much needed rain that slowed the ripening of beautiful clean fruit, the first blocks were picked on the 16th of March. April, returned to dry weather, with above-average temperatures which was ideal for the bulk of our harvest.
The grapes were hand harvested from the upper terrace from a combination of various clones. Clones are picked and vinified separately until blending for aging.
Colour: A clear pale lemon core with a gold hue and flecks of green and silver.
Aroma: The aroma of the wine is truly multi-layered. It shows fresh lime and lemon, white stone fruit and fragrant almond blossom mixed with malt biscuit and underlying mineral notes.
Palate: Ripe peach and nectarine with key lime and yuzu drive the palate. A luscious full-bodied mouthfeel from aging on fine lees gives flavours of malty cheesecake crust combined with a crunchy mineral finish and hints of salted caramel
Food Pairing: Pork, Rich fish (salmon, tuna, etc...), Vegetarian, Poultry
pH:Ā 3.45
Acidity: 5.3

Opus One was founded by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, legendary proprietor of ChĆ¢teau Mouton Rothschild, and renowned Napa Valley vintner Robert Mondavi. By combining the great winemaking traditions and innovations of both families, the foundersā singular goal was to create an exceptional wine in the heart of Napa Valley. Opus One, like any great work, arose out of passion. Dedicated to uncompromised quality, Opus Oneās sole purpose is to express this vision and passionate spirit for generations to come.
VINTAGE 2o19
Abundant spring rains, nearly double the annual average, saturated the soil and provided ample water for the growing season. The first signs of budbreak were observed in the vineyard on March 27th; a full 15 days later than usual. This delay led to later bloom and veraison. However, warmer temperatures toward the end of summer accelerated the fruitās development and maturity. Picking began on September 10th, a couple of days earlier than average. The harvest lasted four weeks, and activity in the cellar proceeded at a calm and steady pace.
The Opus One 2019 has intense aromas of black plum, blueberry, black currant, and dried rose petals, accentuated by mineral undertones. The creamy, satiny texture is framed by finegrained tannins. The freshness and soft glow of acidity create a subtle tension with dark fruit flavors, savory herbs, espresso, and cocoa. A delicate dark chocolate bitterness lingers on the finish.
