BenMarco Sin Límites expresses our efforts to discover the most interesting combinations of soil and climate, where there are no limits to exploration, to reveal wines with unique identity and personality.
With this organic wine, we fulfill our desire to return to a pesticide-free viticulture, based on using soil conditioners, working the soil and being friendlier with the environment and the people.
BenMarco Sin Límites Organic Malbec is made with organic grapes from selected plots in the I.G. (appellation) Los Chacayes, Valle de Uco, at 1,100 m.a.s.l. (3,600 ft.).
This wine is a great option to enjoy paired with roasted, grilled, or sautéed preparations, cured and cold meats, poultry, nuts.

Aromas of ripe black fruit, leather and vanilla are complemented with cassis flavors and hints of spices, with a long velvety finish.
A challenging early harvest, with the principal factor being a winter with low levels of precipitation that favored our organic vineyards. Severe frosts in some zones of the valley affected yields, but maintained the quality of the grapes, and summer saw elevated temperatures. Harvest began early, and thanks to this we had expressive and intense fruit with balanced acidity and ripe tannins.

"A fresh and discreet Almaviva with subtle pencil shavings and cigar box to the cassis and hints of chili chocolate and peppermint. Nuanced and subtle on the nose. This is medium-bodied and subtle on the palate with silky tannins in the seamless finish. Very long. 71% cabernet sauvignon, 22% carmenere, 5% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot. Drinkable now, but it will take its time to deliver complexity."

"The 2021 Almaviva is a blend primarily based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere, but not limited to these, and was aged for up to 18 months in French barrels. Guillaume Gonnet Hommage a Maryline Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2015
A bouquet of ripe fruits, morello cherries, blackcurrants, blackberries, liquorice, bay leaves, thyme and rosemary, oriental spices, and hints of dark chocolate. This wine will evolve beautifully in the glass or would benefit from decanting. A fine wine with a great aging potential.

Crème de cassis, cherries, a lovely note of licorice on the palate, mixed with pepper and Asian spices. “Le Reveur Rouge” is a wine that marries with a great range of food. Ruby red with purple reflections, Le Volte dell' Ornellaia 2020 has a vinous bouquet, releasing a complexity of aromas ranging from ripe red fruits, to Mediterranean scrub, up to delicate notes of tobacco and spices. The mouthfeel is soft and silky, but at the same time supported by a lively acidity that gives us a crisp, persistent finish.

A deep maroon core with a ruby rim, the 2021 Eight Years in the Desert opens with aromas of wild blackberry, pepper, oatmeal raisin cookie, Sequoia forest floor, bay leaf and spices. The entry is broad and opulent with a mid-palate of brambly raspberry, black cherry, ripe blueberry and a hint of cacao. The wine has superb length through the finish with ripe tannins and a close of sweet oak.

Very deep red with purple shadows, a large bouquet of black fruits, forest floor, pinewood with a hint of white rose and jasmine. A distinctive texture of well-bounds tannins paired with a great minerality; a slight bitterness develops as an after-taste. Serve with roast meat, aged cheeses, and pasta. Serving temperature from 16° to 18°C.

Luce 2019
TUSCAN TRADITION
2019: a balanced and late vintage. A cold and sunny winter was followed by a spring characterized by low average temperatures and heavy rainfall, which contributed to the creation of important water reserves in the soil. The reduced sunlight coupled with the heavy rainfall resulted in a slight delay of about ten days in the vegetative cycle of the grapevines. The flowering phase took place in early June, after which the growing season continued regularly with a hot summer free of excessive temperatures and some rainfall occurring between late July and early August, which supported a vigorous and efficient growth of the leaves. The mild temperatures in September and the good water reserves supported a slow and regular ripening of the grapes, which resulted in perfectly ripe, highly intense tannins rich in aromatic freshness. The harvest began with a sunny climate on September 12 with the first Merlot grapes, continued with Sangiovese in late September and early October. The wines are structured showing balance, vigor and great aging potential. Luce 2019 has an intense ruby red color. The nose is striking with its floral hints of violet and rose accompanied by red fruits such as raspberries and sweet spices. In the mouth, the wine is balanced and elegant with an almost creamy texture supported by silky and well-integrated tannins. Spicy notes accompany the persistent finish. Showing perfect varietal Cabernet Sauvignon character, this 2019 is rich with elements of Dark Chocolate, focused cassis, nuances of blue and black berry.
100% new French Oak, aged 20 months, fills in the crème brulee like mid-palate. Only 100 cases produced (4 barrels!)
