Cocchi Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry Piemontese
Cocchi Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry, released on the year of Cocchi’s 130th anniversary, is a classic-style vermouth from the birthplace of vermouth, Piemonte.
“Ricetta Piemontese”(Piedmontese recipe), stated on the label, is a very precise indication of the content: all the relevant ingredients for this vermouth come from Piemonte and have a strong bond with our region.
The wine used for this vermouth is Cortese, the same grape used for Gavi DOCG.
The Artemisia Absinthium, is 100% from Piemonte mountains.
The aromatic profile is characterized by Menta di Pancalieri, a local variety of peppermint, and lemon, traditionally used to garnish vermouth in our region.
The Cocchi Extra Dry proudly carries the “Vermouth di Torino” appellation.
Characteristics
The wine at its hearth comes from local Cortese grapes (same grape used for Gavi DOCG), which is then married with lemon peels and Piedmontese mint as well as botanicals such as wormwood, angelica, coriander and cardamom for a fragrant and perfectly balanced character.
Tasting Notes
Cocchi Extra Dry is an extremely elegant stand-alone vermouth with fresh apple, melon and white flower notes from the wine, beautifully balance with the aromatic botanical notes of cardamom, wormwood, coriander and angelica. The Piedmontese mint and lemon peels bring herbaceous notes and brightness to the palate, creating a unique personality.

A unique wine, a true expression of each vintage. A blend of Nebbiolo fruit from our prized vineyards located among the eleven villages (“undici comuni”, hence the name) in the Barolo growing area. The circular logo on the label shows, in different colors, the areas of the eleven villages.

- Vinification: Fermentation and maceration for about three weeks in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in wood.

Arnaldo Rivera Barolo DOCG Rocche di Castiglione 2018
Medium-intense ruby red colour. Complex and elegant nose. Notes of ripe red fruit (cherry, red berries) floral (rose petals with a hint of chamomile) and mineral nuances. Good intensity on the palate, fresh, well- balanced, silky, mouth-filling and rounded. The tannins are well-integrated. Long and persistent finish with good freshness.
Food pairings: Meat dishes such as game, red meats and seasoned cheeses.
Arnaldo Rivera Barolo DOCG Ravera 2018
The nose is intensely smoky, with raspberry and strawberry aromas. The calcareous white soils produce beautiful fruit aromatics, whilst the due-south sun-facing aspect add considerable depth to the fruit and ripeness to the firm tannins. Directness of fruit is also brought forward by a degree less oak than their other Cru wines, with some smaller format wood -- but none of it new. It's sleek and stylish, a lifted wine that's taut and spicy with fine-grained tannins. There's tension and persistence here, with a long and elegant finish. A long and profound Barolo to approach now or cellar a good while, the Ravera is a classic.

Arnaldo Rivera Langhe DOC Nascetta del Comune di Novello 2020
Pale straw yellow in colour, it has a floral and fruity bouquet, with intense aromatic notes in its youth capable of evolving into more complex aromas after a few years in the bottle. Good structure, contained acidity, excellent sapidity and persistence on the palate. It goes well with semi-mature cheeses, first courses and white meats.
Serving temperature 12° – 14°.
Giovanni Rosso Barolo DOCG 2020
Clarity and order dominate the bright ruby red, with notes of berries and pomegranate, violets, and aromas of camphor, candied cherry, and licorice. “This Barolo is a blend of equal parts Serralunga, Castiglione Falletto and the town of Barolo, a classic mix old-timers favored before the fashion of single-vineyard wines took hold” according to renowned American wine critic Antonio Galloni.

Giovanni Rosso Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Ester Canale Rosso 2022
Wine Enthusiast deemed it 'impeccably balanced', while James Suckling compared its character to a 'rose petal'. Wine Advocate describes it as 'lean and bright'. However, sometimes the most accurate descriptions are the most poetic. Gary Walsh, writing for The Wine Front, captures its essence perfectly: 'A light caresses it and fills it with grace, and yet it is palpable'."

Giovanni Rosso Etna Bianco DOC 2022
Captivating and bright, from volcanic soils. Etna Bianco DOP is a concentrated serum of Sicilian gastronomic explosion: it ranges from floral notes of mandarin blossom to candied ginger, whilst the palate is tickled by alternated salt and lemon. Wine Spectator speaks of "baked pineapple" in calling it "a richer approach to young Carricante, but well-balanced and vibrant throughout.”

Perfumes: Intense aroma, gorse, yellow-peeled citrus on a grassy background.
Taste: Full, intense and linear. Great freshness and a final that represents the terroir.

Giovanni Rosso Barolo DOCG Serra 2020
The dense tannins that support the balsamic structure of Barolo Serra Giovanni Rosso are now recognized on the palate by critics worldwide, despite being a small MGA, a niche relegated to more refined drinkers. A fleshy and complex wine. Bruce Sanderson writes on Wine Spectator: Licorice, leather and brandy-steeped cherry notes are the hallmarks of this supple, polished red, which builds to a long aftertaste of cherry, spice and mineral".

Perfumes: Blackberry, raspberry pulp, mint and balsamic texture typical to Serralunga.
Taste: Protagonist power and structure, strong but yet elegant tannins, long persistence.

Giovanni Rosso Barolo DOCG Cerretta 2018
A wine that “is not shouting but calmly displaying its excellent qualities," declares Decanter in evaluating the Barolo Cerretta, a silky nectar with enveloping tannins obtained from the renowned MGA in Serralunga d'Alba. Qualities and aromas that Wine Spectator sums up as: "Fragrant and rich, this red offers a core of strawberry, cherry, floral, mint and hay aromas and flavors playing the solidly-built frame."
