Veramonte came to life in the late 1990s in Casablanca, a valley unheard of at that time within the wine industry. Led by grand visionary and pioneer of Chilean wine, Augustín Huneeus was the first to invest in the area and introduce the world to Veramonte and Casablanca. Today, Veramonte is a part of González Byass, a family company founded in 1835 that has maintained their values for five generations.
Our organic vineyards are planted in some of Chile’s most renowned winemaking regions. We are dedicated to natural practices that focus on sustaining healthy soils, pure fruit and expressive wines.
All of our estates adhere to organic practices that ensure the best conditions for developing our vines and achieving sustainable vineyards over time. Vigorous, balanced soils grow quality grapes that express their terroir’s maximum potential.

Organic WineCOMPOSITION
100% Sauvignon BlancWINEMAKER’S NOTES
Grapes are harvested at night in order to maintain fresh and bright acidity. The fruit goes straight to the press, where the juice sits for 24 hours. Then it is racked and separated from its gross lees and fermented clean at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks, ensuring multilayers of aromas and flavors.2019 VINTAGE
An excellent harvest in the Casablanca Valley. The moderate temperatures during spring, without significant rains, allowed for good bud break and flowering. During summer there were no large diurnal temperatures, benefitting the ripening curve and helping maintain the freshness of the fruit in this zone. Harvest was pushed up by 10 days with respect to last year, and with lower yields that produced intense aromatics and flavors, producing fresh, intense wines with balanced acidity and a long finish.SKU: VRM01-1900750-WH -
