Chateau Corbin 2014
Renowned in the realm of fine wines, the Corbin 2014 stands as an impressive testament to meticulous French winemaking. Produced from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, this ruby-red velvet blend is weathered in oak barrels, adorning it with robust flavours of ripe plum, blackberry and truffle. Harmoniously fused with a delicate hint of spice, the vine exudes a touch of elegance.
Originating from Saint-Ćmilion in Bordeaux, the Corbin Estate bathes in an ideal climatic and geological confluence. This affords it the unique opportunity to grow grapes of unparalleled quality, setting Corbin 2014's stage for coveted recognition. The topsoilās iron-rich clay endows this wine with its characteristic intensity and distinct earthy undertone.
The producer, Anabelle Cruse-Bardinet, hails from an illustrious lineage of vineyard operators, passionately preserving the timeless tradition of French winemaking. She defines the Corbin 2014 as a genuine reflection of her dedication to preserve terroir expression.
ChĆ¢teau Belle-Brise, Pomerol 2014
Bordeaux Pomerol wines are rich, decadent reds, with notes of chocolate, dark cherry, plums and spice, soft tannins and elegance courtesy of the Merlot grape.
The most lushāand expensiveāwines come from a plateau of clay, gravel and iron, while lighter, more acidic wines come from the region's sandy soils.
Situated on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, Pomerol is dominated by small estates that command premium prices.
Approximately 80 percent of the region's plantings are Merlot, unlike other regions of Bordeaux where no one grape dominates so singularly; and one disadvantage is that bad weather can wreak havoc on an individual vintage.
