Orin Swift Machete 2016

$110.00 $99.00
We also weren’t going to restrict ourselves by appellation constraints and focused on making the best possible Petite Sirah-based blend from California. We used quality individual wine lots to create a seaMLess blend with both finesse and power, ultimately, creating a wine that embodies the spirit and energy of Orin Swift. Violet ink in the glass, a nose of black plums, cassis, and cacao engage. The robust entry consists of a progressing palate of blackberry and boysenberry compote, a reduction of dark plum and ripe figs, and pure Amarena cherry. Flashes of vanilla and traces of minerality evolve into chalky tannins and a smooth lingering finish. Varietal : Petite Sirah, Syrah and Grenache

Louis M. Martini Lot 1 2016

$350.00
Lot No. 1 Cabernet Sauvignon is our most carefully crafted wine, showcasing top blocks from esteemed Napa Valley vineyards and executed with the highest attention to detail at every step of the winemaking process. The 2016 vintage pulses with complexity –layers of black raspberry and macerated black cherry join with blueberry and juicy black currant on a wave of dark fruit tones. The plush, full-bodied mouthfeel reveals hints of cedar, cloves and coffee on a red carpet of velvety tannins.

Louis M. Martini Lot 1 2017

$350.00
Lot No. 1 is something of a mosaic of iconic appellations and vineyards an assemblage of Napa Valley’s best mountain, benchland and valley floor fruit. The 2017 vintage is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak, Howell Mountain, Stags Leap, Mount Veeder and other stellar sites throughout Napa Valley AVA. From a growing perspective in 2017, ample winter rains fueled vine growth early in the season followed by steady warmth in the summer and fall, leading to a slightly early harvest with ripe, fruit driven intensity. Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Louis M. Martini Lot 1 2013

$398.00
A perfect wine, that seems to have gone from one strength to another since I first tasted it, the 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 1 is absolutely amazing wine. It was aged 21 months in 87% new French oak, finished at 15.3% alcohol and was another abundant vintage, as this lot produced 850 cases, which is even more than 2012 and slightly less than 2003 and 2014. The wine has an inky purple color, a gorgeous nose of graphite, blueberry liqueur intermixed with cassis, blackberry, espresso roast, chocolate and graphite. Dense and incredibly intense with good acidity (slightly lower pH than the 2012, reflected in the character of the wine), fabulous purity and a finish that goes on for close to 50+ seconds. This could well turn out to be the greatest wine ever made at the Louis Martini Winery and that is saying something. It has at least 30-50+ years of aging potential and is clearly a compelling effort from this historic and iconic winery in Napa.

Orin Swift 8 Years In The Desert Gift Set

$1,980.00 $1,782.00
Dark garnet with a lucid rim, the wine exhibits aromas of briar fruit, ripe blackberry and dark plum with a tinge of minerality and charred meat. Brawny on the entry, it has an equally big mid-palate with complex flavours of ripe brambly fruit, a touch of earth and notes of espresso bean. Still massive through to the finish with soft drying tannins, the unique varietal characteristics of the blend clearly reveal themselves over time.
