Serving portion: 1 glass
Ingredients you will need:
- 25ml of Jack Daniels Old No. 7
- 1 tsp of sugar
- a splash of water
- 1 mint sprig to garnish
- crushed ice
Equipment you will need:
- teaspoon
- Measuring cup/ tablespoon (1 spoonful = 15ml) / teaspoon (1 spoonful = 5 ml)
- Rock glass/ any serving glass
- clean kitchen towel
Method:
Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice cubes. Strain into a double old fashioned glass full of crushed ice and garnish with an extra sprig of mint. #mintjulep (refer to video for the simplified method)

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee
- Nose: Caramel with mild hints of banana
- Taste: Balanced caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, medium bodied.
- Finish: Creamy/Clean finish
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey
- Nose: Caramel and charred oak, a little orange blossom, manuka honey and vanilla.
- Palate: Thick and creamy with notes of vanilla, toasty oak, honey again, a little apricot too.
- Finish: Good length - rounded and rich.
