Serving portion: 1 glass

Ingredients you will need:

  • 25ml of Jack Daniels Old No. 7
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • a splash of water
  • 1 mint sprig to garnish
  • crushed ice

Equipment you will need:

  • teaspoon
  • Measuring cup/ tablespoon (1 spoonful = 15ml) / teaspoon (1 spoonful = 5 ml)
  • Rock glass/ any serving glass
  • clean kitchen towel

Method:

Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice cubes. Strain into a double old fashioned glass full of crushed ice and garnish with an extra sprig of mint. #mintjulep (refer to video for the simplified method)
