The GlenDronach Cask Release programme has grown a dedicated following and collectors will go to great lengths to acquire these fine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskies. This release is the 16th Batch launched from The GlenDronach distillery and 7 casks, dating from 1990 to 2005, will be made available for Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Each cask displays truly remarkable characteristics, from cranberry and apricot brandy in 1990 to fruit and nut chocolate with unctuous walnut oil in 1992, rhubarb and prune syrup in 1993 and gingerbread and orange liqueur in 2005, the distinctiveness of each developing during the long maturation process. - Colour : Antique copper.
- Nose : An old chestnut cabinet opens to the scent of sandalwood and beeswax. On following the scent deeper, discover date oil and spiced bramble pie on an earthy forest floor.
- Taste : Orange-laced mocha, spiced mincepies and dark bramble jam carried on a bed of leather-velvet, leaving date oil and prunes into the rich and unctuous long-lasting finish.
