SAKURAO DISTILLERY was founded in 2018, directly facing the famous Miyajima World Heritage Site in the heart of Hatsukaichi City in Hiroshima. It is here that we set out to create our own single malt whisky. The unique characteristics of our region enhance the flavor of whisky. Hiroshima is blessed with a natural environment comprising of seaside and mountainous areas, making it an excellent place to produce whisky that perfectly embodies the unique characteristics of the region.

Tsukiyoshino – Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki

Kamiki Intense Wood Whisky
Kamiki is a new expression of premium Japanese style whisky blessed by Omiwa priests from Nara. Nara is the ancient capital of Japan and it holds many temples from Shinto, Tengri and Buddhist religions, which makes Nara «The City of Temples».
Kamiki production is protected by Omiwa Temple priests. Omiwa is one of the oldest extant Shinto shrine in Japan over thousand years old and protecting local alcohol producers ever since. To celebrate the timeless alcohol tradition of the region, rare Japanese malt whiskies and finest malt whiskies sourced from rest of the world are blended and later fused with the highest quality pure spring water.
Nara is covered with dense Yoshino Sugi (Japanese Cedar) forests. Yoshino Sugi is used to build temples, burnt in temples to calm mind and to age local alcohol products. Kamiki uses a unique second maturation technique, while blend is rested for a second time in Yoshino Sugi –Japanese Cedar- casks to capture a perfectly smooth taste, a scent of sandalwood on the nose and a zest of green tea in the finish. This second maturation makes Kamiki; “THE FIRST WHISKY IN THE WORLD WITH JAPANESE CEDAR CASK FINISH”!
Kamiki name is derived from the Miwa Mountain (Mountain of God), which is protected by Omiwa Priests. Inspired by beautiful breezes coming from Miwa, the whisky is named KAMIKI, where KAMI means God and IKI means breath.
Kamiki INTENSE is an exclusive version of Kamiki ORIGINAL whisky has a smooth taste, complex flavor and driven by pure malted barley. There is no age statement on the product. It has been aged in oak barrels minimum of three years and second aged in non-charred local cedar casks longer than Kamiki ORIGINAL for bolder taste lovers
Nose: A perfectly balanced heather honey and sandalwood.
Palate: Sweet caramel, Japanese plum and balanced oak with peat
Finish: Hints of toffee and a long lasting finish with a zest of green tea.

Ferdinand’s Saar Quince Miniature
Master Distiller Andreas Vallendar combines carefully hand-picked Riesling grapes from the Zilliken estate and over 30 delicately balanced botanicals from the vineyards and our own cultivation.
Our Saar Quince is infused with 2011er Rausch Kabinett, which in 2013 was awarded 92 points by Gault Millau and was distinguished as the best cabinet wine of the year. The Royal Prussian District Forester Ferdinand Geltz not only gave his name to this Riesling-infused Saar Dry Gin but he was also the historical co-founder of the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer growers’ group.
This golden Quince from the Saar symbolises the perfect balance between sweet, sour, and bitter.

TEEDA Aged 5 Years
Mr. Tadashi Matsuda, the founder of Helios Co. has been distilling spirits for over 50 years and promoting the identity, culture, and know-how of Okinawa. This is why the company’s main theme is “From Okinawa to The World”!
TEEDA is made from a single distillation of sugarcane molasses from locally grown sugarcane. TEEDA Gold-Rum is aged in white oak casks using both new & used rum barrels for at least 5 years while the final blend is made from rum as young as 5 years and as old as 15.
TEEDA is the Okinawan word for 'sun', which ties in company motto “From Okinawa to The World”.
Nose: Mellow scent with gentle tropical fruits, medium-long toasted mango muffin, mango-infused caramel, pineapple smoothie, and lychee.
Taste: A distinctive, chewy rum with pervasive notes strawberries, apricots, and ripe yellow mangoes on the palate.
Finish: Spicy cinnamon, maple syrup and apricot on the finish.
Mars Iwai Blended Whisky
One of the most important person whose name is Kiichiro Iwai. He is a pioneer of Japanese whisky. "IWAI TRADITION" is his traditional model for Mars Whisky. By contrast, Mars Whisky "IWAI" is more lightly taste. It is blended Japanese whisky to create woody flavor and lightly taste that bring out to the full of the gorgeous aroma imparted by storage in bourbon barrels and that can be savored freely at any time. Jack Daniel’s Bonded Triple Mash
Jack Daniel's Triple Mash is a blend of Bottled American Malt, Rye and Tennessee Whiskeys at 100 proof. It delivers notes of honey, malt and soft oak leading to a long lasting well rounded finish.
The Bottled-In-Bond Act (1897) stipulates that the whiskey must be:
- From a single distillery.
- From one distilling season.
- Bottled at 100 proof.
- Aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years (seasons to mature).

- Nose: Dried fruit, oak and toast.
