Resting in the earthen floored, traditional dunnage warehouses of The GlenDronach Distillery is an exquisite selection of fine Spanish oak sherry casks, slowing maturing our Highland Single Malt.
Dating back as far as 1968, we have a rich selection of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts to choose from. Only the most exceptional are personally selected by our Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie each year, to celebrate and share the very best of the distillery’s character.
Whether they have previously housed sweet and rich Pedro Ximénez, dry and nutty Oloroso, or in selected expressions fruit laden Port from the Douro Valley; each cask presents uniquely remarkable characteristics whilst remaining distinctively of The GlenDronach.
Cask Bottling Batch 19 presents a rich array of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry Puncheons and Butts, distilled between 1990 and 1994.
All exceptional casks are bottled at high strength and of natural cask imparted colour.
