Tasting notes : Very deep red with purple shadows, a large bouquet of black fruits, forest floor, pinewood with a hint of white rose and jasmine. A distinctive texture of wellbounds tannins paired with a great minerality, a slight bitterness develops as an after-taste. Serve with roast meat, aged cheeses, and pasta. Serving temperature from 16° to 18°C.

Le Haut-Médoc de Beychevelle’s 12 hectares of vines are 5 km from Beychevelle’s vineyard; being further from the Gironde estuary, they benefit from a cooler climate. The vineyard is in the Haut-Médoc appellation and has been managed organically since 2008.Brulières’ blend consists of just two grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Marking the warmest year since 2008, the 2015 growing season set a record for early bloom. Drought conditions persisted, and rainfall was erratic, with most of the much-needed rain falling at the end of the previous year and supplemented by only a single storm in February, which was enough water to sustain the vines. Cooler conditions during flowering ultimately lead to a smaller number of berries on each cluster and lower than average yields. Warm summer months led to advanced veraison, which was followed by perfect ripening conditions. Harvest began on September 1 with short pauses; heat spells and continued warmth allowed for the berries to be steadily picked at their ideal maturity. The harvest was completed on October 8.
Initial dark fruit, spice and baking aromas in the 2015 Opus One are interwoven with seductive notes of violet, black tea, and sage. The entry is vibrant with ripe dark fruit flavors of plum, blackberry and blueberry followed by hints of vanilla and cocoa. Silky, fine-grained tannins provide structure and a creamy texture. The wine finishes with fresh acidity and a rich, lingering finish that promises longevity in the cellar.

A blend of Merlot 44%, Cabernet Sauvignon 26%, Cabernet Franc 12% & Petit Verdot 18%, Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia combines generosity and depth of flavour with an engaging and vibrant personality.
Dark in colour, the wine shows a charming nose of perfectly ripe red fruit and spices. The palate is rich and well-rounded with beautiful velvety-textured tannins that coat the palate. A wine that combines immediate pleasure and great ageing capacity.
