The vines of ChĆ¢teau Tour du Roch-Milon perch on the same gravelly ridge as ChĆ¢teau Mouton, one of Bordeauxās āfamous fiveā First Growths. In fact, their vines share the same vineyard, demarcated only by different coloured stakes at the end of the rows. But because no official chĆ¢teau existed here when Bordeaux properties were classified back in 1855, Tour du Roch-Milon missed out on becoming a classed growth like its neighbours.

Handpicked Regional Selection Chardonnay 2019
Our fruit was harvested by hand at the end of February then whole-bunch pressed and settled in tank before transfer to tank and barrel for fermentation. The wine underwent a partial malolactic fermentation and was aged for 10 months ā part in stainless steel tank to retain fresh fruit flavours, part in barrel for added complexity. We used a mix of old and new French oak barrels.
Crisp & Refreshing, White, Medium-bodied wine. Great with river trout, Asian style dishes, roast chicken.

Waipara West N Block Chardonnay 2018
A stripped-back Chardonnay style that showcases the fruit from our site while still being rich in subtle complexities. We achieve this using large, berried Chardonnay clones, whole bunch pressing, minimal use of old oak barrels, extended time on yeast lees and no malolactic fermentation.
Three qualities define this wine - above all else, the first being the fruit aroma/flavour, which we want to be subtle and pure. Acid structure is the second propping up the wine and giving it a salt crunch. Yeast derived aroma/flavours and mouthfeel provide balance.
Color: Pale golden kiwifruit in colour with hues of green and silver.
Aroma: On the nose, this wine is truly multi-layered however, all of them are understated. Fresh pineapple and sea salted cracker at first, perfumed white flower and white tea in the centre, all sitting on a base of malt toffee. These aromas combine and evolve into a vast number of flavours in the mouth.
Palate: Ripe peach and lemon meringue define the taste, due to a combination of full-bodied mouthfeel, cleansing acidity and a bite on the finish. A rich complex wine.
Food Pairing: Pork. Rich Fish (salmon, tuna, etc...), Vegetarian, Poultry
Residual Sugar:Ā 0.52 g/L
pH: 3.51
Acidity: 6.75 g/L
Waipara West Pinot Noir 2018
Estate grown on 3 blocks with differing soil structure, wind exposure and clones ā early 1980ās selections from St Helena and more recent Dijon clones. The colour is an attractive, very bright ruby garnet with distinct crimson hues at the rim. Aromatically it is as striking as it is seductive. Bright red fruits - raspberry, strawberry and Morello cherry have immediate impact with an equally impressive array of oriental spices - anise and clove. Ripe seed aromas of almond kernel and cherry stone lift the nose. Time reveals an inner core of darker black cherry, and just a hint of bramble all kept in check by some very attractive yet subtle French oak. The palate is soft, silken and warm but with a certain nervositĆ© which is to say that as a young wine it may appear both bright in acidity and forward in tannins, but thatās just for starters. Those are simply the framework in which the wine is cradled, the fruit depth is palpable, the Pinosity generous and its presence authoritative.
Rombauer Proprietor Chardonnay 2023
$148.00
The very best of all Rombauer Chardonnays, our Proprietor Selection is comprised of the top barrels of Chardonnay each year. Expect an elevated expression of our Carneros Chardonnay, with intense fruit flavors, a round body, and brilliant acidity.
Intense aromas of nectarine and peach, both yellow and white, mingle with high notes of lime, grapefruit, and honeysuckle on the nose. These continue to the palate where they meet candied ginger and rich chamomile flavors which will deepen as the wine ages. The creamy, full mouthfeel is lifted by stunning acidity which continues through the long and concentrated finish.
Food Pairing: Spaghetti Carbonara, Buttenut Squash Soup, Crap Dip
Opus One Overture 2021
$278.00
First created in 1993, Overture by Opus One is a traditional āsecond wineā meticulously crafted with organically grown fruit from the estate vineyards. The fruit is harvested and vinified with the same care, precision, and attention to detail as Opus One. During and after harvest, the winemaking team rigorously evaluates the wines from each vineyard block and blends only those with the unique aromatics, flavors, and textures recognized as ideal for Overtureāa cellar-worthy wine with remarkable freshness, approachability, and suppleness.
VINTAGE 2o21
In 2021, the vineyards experienced unseasonably dry conditions with the second lowest rainfall in Opus Oneās history. The vineyard team took advantage of the dryness to cultivate early to avoid unnecessary competition for the limited water available. Cooler temperatures prevailed, and rains in late March arrived just in time for the slightly delayed bud-break on April 7th. Warmer weather in April and May allowed for ideal shoot growth and flowering began on May 17th. Reduced water led to lower-than-average yields, which gave the fruit exceptional concentration and flavor at harvest. The summer months were very warm; however, there were no prolonged periods over 100 degrees. Harvest began on August 31st and was steady and brief, with completion occurring on September 24th. Overture 2021, the first vintage-dated bottling of the second wine of Opus One, offers fresh aromas of plum, blackberry, and cherry enhanced by alluring notes of dried rose petal, forest floor, and earthy minerality. Juicy and bright on the palate with distinctive flavors of black currant, blueberry, and fraises du bois; the wine delivers a velvety texture with powdery tannins. Subtle coffee and dark chocolate round out the long finish coupled with a well-integrated acidity.
