TASTING NOTES
Deep red colour with hints of black.Complex bouquet with a blend of ripe red and black fruits, spices, licorice and tobacco flavours hilghlighted by the typical minty touch of La Clape. Full-bodied and elegant mouth structured by dense and remarkably silky tannins. Great lengh endowed with a nice freshness.
AGEING POTENTIAL
Fresh and fruity when young, gaining more complexity after 5-10 years. Poten- tial of 15-20 years.

In June 2015, La Clape became the Languedoc’s first « Appellation Communale». This latest success is however, only the most recent chapter in a winemaking history that dates back 2,000 years! Julius Cesar gifted this rocky outcrop overlooking the Mediterranean to his most favoured legionnaires as a reward. The Roman soldiers of the 10th Legion were thus the first to plant vines on the La Clape headland. Their choice of the Bourboulenc grape variety was no accident, since it was considered in Greek mythology to confer wisdom on those who drank it! Traders through and through, the Romans exported their wines widely and with great success.
Winemaking continued for centuries and more than a thousand years later, the Languedoc was brought under the rule of the French King Louis VIII. Much of the region was then governed, on behalf of the King, by the Baillys d’Anglès from 1226 until the French Revolution. During that time the property was occupied for 500 years by a royal garrison in charge of guarding the entrance to the Aude river, an important maritime trading route. It was Barthélémy Etienne d’Anglès, local mayor, who took the property back after the Revolution. The vineyards remained the property of the Anglès family for more than a hundred years. After the estate was split in two in the late 19th century, the Fabre family was ableto reunite it as Château d’Anglès at the beginning of this new and promising millenium.
From the Médoc to the Languedoc... not such a great leap after all for Eric and Christine Fabre in 2001, in their search for a high quality terroir in the South of France. Both from winemaking families, their intuition lead them to the terroir of La Clape... and straight to Château d’Anglès. Eric Fabre’s wealth of experience, including eight years as technical director at Château Lafite Rothschild, enabled him to overcome the considerable challenges awaiting them. Restructuring the vineyard was high priority in order to balance the assembly of traditional grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache or Carignan for the reds and Bourboulenc, Roussanne and Marsanne for the whites. Each section of the 45 hectares on the estate is closely followed under the paternal eye of Eric Fabre, with a real respect for the environment. Round, fresh, charming, precise, complex, structured, delicate –are all qualities of the Château d’Anglès Great Wines that reflect the values held by Eric and Christine Fabre.

WINEMARKER’S NOTES
Nuance and Intrigue characterize the wine, starting with a dark crimson and a ruby rim but manifested by the aromatics: white pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, pine resin and crème de menthe. An entry dominated by a bright acidity, the mid-palate explores characteristics of rhubarb, savory and a hint of wild strawberry with a long finish indicative of graceful aging.

The superb vineyard of Marsac Séguineau covers 10 hectares in the heart of the Soussan commune. Since 2001, Château Marsac Séguineau and the neigbouring Château La Tour de Mons were acquired by the Credit Agricole Group (which also own the Pauillac Classified Growth, Ch. Grand Puy Ducasse) therefore sharing management and technical staff. Produced with the same care and attention as its neighbor.

TASTING NOTES
Dense aromas with notes of black currant and blueberry. The body is full with a good tannic grip and a nice acidity that gives the wine a fresh character. Spicy notes, well balanced with a nice and elegant finish.
Chateau Gourprie owned by the Moze Berthon family since 1820, is a charming little estate situated at Maillet, neighboring Château Gazin, l'Evangile and Le Bon Pasteur.
This vineyard is composed of 4.5 hectares laying on a superb clay-limestone and ferruginous subsoil typical of the Pomerol area. Since 2014 Hubert de Boüard (Chateau Angelus) is the wine consultant as well as Chateau Maillet the other Pomerol jewel of the Moze-Berthon family.

An intense crimson red color.
A powerful nose revealing intense blackcurrant, vanilla and roasted notes.
The attack is frank, structured with velvet tannins. The mouth develops wild fruits, roasted coffee and vanilla aromas.
A toasted and smoky finish leads to an expressive and fine length.
Deep ruby red in colour, this Pinot Noir 2019 captivates with aromas of ripe black fruit, peony, rose and spice nuances. On the palate it is dense and complex, with velvety tannins. The finish is fresh and lively, with a pleasantly refreshing note of mint.
Organic certified (AB). Hand-picked grapes, handpicked on a vibrating table. 50% whole bunches fermented in stainless steel tanks with weeks of maceration, minimal pumping over and racking. Pressing in pneumatic press. Aging in French oak barrels on the fine lees.

Smelling this wine, you are instantly saturated with lofty aromas of passionfruit sherbet and sweet florals. Asian herbs like lemongrass and Thai basil add a savoury backdrop. Dry river bed and salt crust provide further earthy complexity. Full and juicy in the mouth ripe tropical fruit like richness flows through to a textured and cleansing granny smith finish with a stain like persistence.
Pale yellow colour with golden glints. Elegant bouquet of spring flowers and fresh spices such as anise or fennel. Smooth mouth revealing a rich and long complexity of white fruits balanced by a mineral freshness.
Enjoy fresh and fruity in the first 5 years. Ageing potential of 8 to 10 years. Try the Classique White as an apéritif with salmon cream toasts or simply dry nuts! Excellent with grilled fish and also white meat. Perfect with goat and sheep fresh cheese. Aerate and drink at around 14°C. If served too cold, this wine will not develop its full aroma.

The stony soils of Puligny-Montrachet, located between Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet, are widely known for full-bodied and intense Chardonnays that have been sought after for centuries. Rising between 230 and 320 meters above sea level, the southeast exposures are protected from the winds by the Montrachet slopes.
Behind its pale lemon color, our Puligny-Montrachet 2017 shows a nose full of aromas of acacia and green apples, lined with notes of honeysuckle and flint. The palate confirms these flavors and reveals a wellrounded wine with good acidity. The finish is long and clean with a mineral edge, adding to the complexity of the wine.
