THE EYE: Pale gold in colour with green glints. Bright, luminous and limpid. THE NOSE: Evolves in purity and elegance. We discover with pleasure the sweetness and mellowness thought fresh notes of citrus, menthol and fern, rounded by gourmet notes of vanilla. THE MOUTH: expresses power, delicacy, mellowness and character on a clearly mineral background that only aging can balance. A delicate hint of oak and a very long finish that gives us enough time to appreciate this wonderful moment of tasting. In the nose have notes of fine and aromatics herbs, flowers and fruits like apricot and plum. It’s fresh, complex and very mineral. It has very elegant oak notes. The palate is balanced in terms of maturity, warmth with very present and long acidity. This is a very fresh white wine, with good tannin structure, fine and lively. Beronia Rueda Verdejo Blanco 2022 is the only wine made by Beronia Rueda, the González Byass group’s winery based in that Denominación located in the region of Castile. A unique single-varietal that’s the result of double harvesting and full fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats. Elegant, fresh and mouth coating.   The white Beronia Rueda Verdejo 2022 was designed from grapes that were harvested in two stages: in the first, the earliest grapes that give the wine its freshness and a slight herby touch were picked; the second was focused on selecting the ripest and most concentrated berries to lend it volume. These are the ingredients that go into making Bodegas Beronia Rueda, the only wine produced by the González Byass group’s firm based in Rueda, a Denominación de Origen located in the region of Castile.  As in the three previous vintages, the grapes from the two harvests were processed separately and fermented in stainless and concrete vats. The final blend is a versatile, single-varietal Rueda wine that’s a perfect match both for exotic food such as Asian (sushi, for example) and for classic dishes like white fish, smoked fish and creamy cheeses.
