Baron Benjamin de Rothschild had the real desire to create his own Sauvignon Blanc. He purchased around 24 hectares of vineyard, ideally situated on the prestigious Rapaura Road, in the heart of the Marlborough region of New Zealand. This area’s cool climate is perfect for ripening high quality Sauvignon Blanc grapes and providing them with their typical lemon and grapefruit flavours, together with crisp acidity.
“101”, is the name of the plot selected for this rare expression of Rimapere. The vineyard meaning “Five Arrows” in Maori and simultaneously honours the Rothschild’s family coat of arms (five arrows symbolising the five sons of dynasty founder Mayer Amschel Rothschild) and traditional New Zealand culture.
- Winemaking : Gentle pneumatic pressing of the whole bunches, cold settling, fermentation in barrels and in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks up to 4 weeks (11 to 18 C).

Yangarra Roux Beaute Roussanne 2019
The 2019 growing season was very dry, which resulted in incredibly low yields. We had a relatively warm lead up to the ripening period, which produced a very condensed and fast harvest. With Roussanne being a late ripening variety, it faired very well in a season like this, giving rise to concentration, freshness of flavor and marked natural acidity.
Hand-picked from Block 6 (1.0 ha) on March 16th, our oldest Roussanne planting which is now 15 years old. 50% is destemmed, crushed, and filled to 675L ceramic eggs, where it is fermented and remains on the skins for 193 days. The other 50% is pressed into ceramic eggs and fermented off of the skins. The final blend was 40% extended skin batch and 60% without skin contact. Aromatic to the nose with notes of buttery-vanillin oak flavours and exotic fruit (orange rind and honeyed grapefruit). On the palate, the wine is round, fleshy with wonderful minerality and again, delightful exotic fruit flavours. The new-oak flavours are present. Very nice balance between the oak, fruit and acidity. Excellent finish.
100% Sauvignon Blanc. Harvest is done 100% by hand. Following a skin-contact maceration, 75% of the juice is fermented in vats and 25% in oak-barrels. During this ageing period, “batonnage” is carried out. After blending and filtration, bottling is carried out in late spring following the harvest.
Le Comte de Malartic Blanc 2020
A fresh clean white with notes of spicy green apples, flowers, citrus fruits and crushed sea salt. This wine is perfect to enjoy now and over the next few years.

Chateau de Pommard Chassagne-Montrachet 2014
Complex and generous, Chassagne-Montrachet has a clear lemon color. The nose and palate present with intense aromas and flavors of acacia, yellow peaches and ripe pineapple, lined with notes of vanilla, almonds and hazelnuts. The finish is long and leaves a sense of generosity. It is a white wine approachable now, but definitely ageworthy.

The Pessac-Léognan white 2018 is intense on the nose with pleasant aromas of stone fruit, citrus and green apple. It is a balanced white Bordeaux wine, tense, and with a freshness enhanced by a wonderful minerality. This very delicious wine develops a great aromatic bouquet on the finish, which also boasts fantastic length.
80% Sauvignon, 20% Sémillon
“The 2018 Malartic Lagraviere 2018 Blanc is a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon. It was fermented in oak barrels, 55% new. It opens with alluring scents of fresh pears, Golden Delicious apples and juicy peaches, followed by hints of nutmeg, dill seed and honeysuckle. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers bags of apple and stone fruit flavors with a racy line and oily suggestion to the texture, finishing on a lingering spicy note. J. Denuzière Condrieu 2020
Viognier is the only varietal grown in Condrieu, and makes smooth, generous wines. These are a pale, golden colour with a glimmer of green, and are both fresh and highly aromatic. Scents include floral perfumes, particularly violets, and fruity notes of mango, white peach and apricot. At their peak, there is also a discernible touch of musk, gingerbread and tobacco.

Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Colour: Lemon yellow with green glimmers.
Nose: The nose opens us with Japanese pear, green apple, white flowers, white peach and almond.
Palate: The palate is silky and elegant. Notes of peach, nectarine, mango, candied pineapple and dried apricot are highlighted by spices. The finish is long and elegant, with delicate peppery notes.
Pairs well with Goats cheeses, Mont d'Or, seafood or a fillet of perch pike with seaweed and bamboo shoots.

Colour: Yellow with silver tinges.
Nose: The already expressive nose offers Sansho pepper, blackberry bud, white peach, exotic fruits and citrus fruits such as pomelos.
Palate: A rich and powerful wine with an elegant freshness. A delicate touch of bitterness lingers on the long and incredibly well balanced finish.
Pairs well with Goats cheeses, a white bean bruschetta, mushrooms and grilled white fish.
