[Pack of 4] East Imperial Burma Tonic
Crafted in the most elegant way, our Tonic Water captures the contemporary taste of tonic with the highest quinine levels available in the market. This is rounded out with top notes of Thai lemongrass and Manao Lime.
Our Tonic Water is created to have a bold distinctive taste, so you can recreate the century-old tradition of Long Pink Gins made famous at the Pegu Club in Rangoon, Burma. Simply add two to four dashes of bitters to a long Gin and Tonic.
We recommend our Tonic Water with the more traditional citrus-driven and London dry style gins.
Tasting Notes : Warm and spicy with a hint of cinnamon on the palate. The finish is fresh, delicate, and full of zest from Manao Lime.
[Pack of 4] East Imperial Old World Tonic
Our Old World Tonic is a completely natural low-calorie tonic, with half the natural sugar content of other tonics.
This is an authentic representation of what Tonic Water used to be at the turn of the last century before overly sweet tonics became the norm. Unlike other ‘diet’ tonics, we only use all-natural ingredients with no artificial colours or preservatives, and it is gluten-free. With only 20 Calories per 100ml (7.5gm of natural cane sugar) our Old World Tonic is the perfect way to enjoy your
Gin and Tonic without the guilt of calories.
Tasting Notes : The initial palate is warm with liquorice spice and fresh lavender with a hint of tea, finishing with a luxurious citrus mouthfeel.
[Pack of 4] East Imperial Grapefruit Tonic
To create our Grapefruit Tonic we’ve taken the South East Asian Pomelo, which delivers a deep rich orange note, and carefully blended this with Ruby Red Grapefruit, resulting in a tonic that delivers the ultimate citrus balance.
Enter Harry Craddock, who was known in the 1930s for his fantastic cocktails at iconic London destinations, The Savoy and The Dorchester Hotel. In his journals and recipes, he often spoke of using the ‘forbidden fruit’ and his secrets remained somewhat shrouded in mystery until recent years. Harry Craddock was the inspiration for our Grapefruit Tonic and makes a stunning Gin and Tonic, as well as many other delicious cocktails.
Tasting Notes : Round and lavish initial palate, packed with pomelo and citrus oil. Finishes with a generous hit of ruby red grapefruit zest.
[Pack of 4] East Imperial Soda Water
To keep with the spirit of discovery that is at the heart of East Imperial, we travelled the world to find the purest, unfiltered spring water to create our Soda Water (aka Seltzer Water or Club Soda). Our water is sustainably sourced from a mineral spring located in the North Island of New Zealand. This high-quality water gives East Imperial the authentic taste of original tonic waters which were also made from the purest springs in East Africa and East Asia at the turn of the last century.
Tasting Notes : Our Soda Water is light refreshing and slightly effervescent, throughout heavy hints of minerality and balance with an ever-so-slight salinity.
[Pack of 4] East Imperial Yuzu Tonic
Our Yuzu Tonic is made for a robust yuzu citrus-flavored Gin and Tonic, or to bring a bright citrus note to your favorite cocktail. Yuzu is found during the cooler months in Northern Asia, particularly Japan, is an aromatic sweet citrus fruit with a distinct zesty flavor, often described as a hybrid between a mandarin and a Meyer lemon.
Introduced to South East Asia at the turn of the last century, it brought a unique and exceptional citrus brightness and was soon embraced by the more discerning cocktail drinker.
Tasting Notes : Robust citrus bomb upfront with the yuzu zest playing hero alongside the bitterness of quinine. The finish is somewhat sherbet with a moorish floral and sweet note.
