Grand Bateau is a collection of Bordeaux range created by the team of the famous Chateau Beychevelle in St Julien.
From the pruning of the vines to the harvest and even throughout the entire ageing process, our technical expertise is deployed to insure the most consistent and best quality possible. Grand Bateau is stylistically made to satisfy both young consumers and confirmed amateurs alike.
The boat which decorates this label is the mythical galleon of the famous CHATEAU BEYCHEVELLE, our sister company, which took part and sponsored the conception and creation of Grand Bateau.

Expressive nose of ripe red fruits (plums, ripe cassis …), spices and with an elegant touch of new oak. On the palate, the wine is immediately harmonious and seductive with velvety ripe-fruit flavours wonderfully cradled by the new–oak. Medium bodied with ripe tannins and a savoury finish.
Blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvest is done 100% by hand. Traditional vinification in stainless steel and temperature-controlled vats. Ageing in oak barrels for 6 to 8 months.
