The GlenDronach Cask Release programme has grown a dedicated following and collectors will go to great lengths to acquire these fine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskies. This release is the 16th Batch launched from The GlenDronach distillery and 7 casks, dating from 1990 to 2005, will be made available for Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Each cask displays truly remarkable characteristics, from cranberry and apricot brandy in 1990 to fruit and nut chocolate with unctuous walnut oil in 1992, rhubarb and prune syrup in 1993 and gingerbread and orange liqueur in 2005, the distinctiveness of each developing during the long maturation process. All 7 casks are bottled without chill filtration for richness, at high strength and are naturally deep in colour.

• Nose : Richly balanced with cranberry and orange peel fruitcake, on a base of demerara sugar, cocoa butter and tobacco.
• Taste : Sultana and apricot brandy, becoming cherry stone and cocoa leaf with a lingering velvet espresso-mocha finish.
