Le-Haut MĆ©doc De Beychevelle 2017

$69.00
The vinification is traditional, with 18 to 21 days of fermentations and regular pumpings over. The ageing is in french oak barrels for 12 months with 20% of new barrels. Le Haut-MĆ©doc de Beychevelle's 12 hectares of vines are 5 km from Beychevelle's vineyard; being further from the Gironde estuary, they benefit from a cooler climate. The vineyard is in the Haut-MĆ©doc appellation and has been managed organically since 2008. This blend consists of just two grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Vinified and aged in a separate winery, it is produced with the same level of care as ChĆ¢teau Beychevelle and Amiral de Beychevelle Rich nose and delicate palate with an aromatic richness of ripe red fruits. Le Volte dellā€™ Ornellaia 2020

$59.00
Ruby red with purple reflections, Le Volte dell' Ornellaia 2020 has a vinous bouquet, releasing a complexity of aromas ranging from ripe red fruits, to Mediterranean scrub, up to delicate notes of tobacco and spices. The mouthfeel is soft and silky, but at the same time supported by a lively acidity that gives us a crisp, persistent finish. "A blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, the Ornellaia 2020 Le Volte dell'Ornellaia shows medium darkness and texture followed by a very primary and fruit-forward bouquet. There is a generous display of cherry, cassis and wild plum. On second nose, this easy and straightforward Tuscan blend reveals hints of spice, cardamon and polished river stone. In a hot vintage like this, the wine comes together nicely and rather effortlessly." - 90 points, Robert Parker

Domaine Albert Mann Pinot Noir Grand H 2020

$165.00
A beautiful limpid color, color chart of ruby with purple reflections. We begin with a nose with rich aromatic expressions, on the one hand a wild side, undergrowth, black truffle and on the other hand a pronounced bouquet of ripe black fruits, Burlat cherries, blackcurrant, blackberry and wild blueberry, which are both intense and promising for a captivating great wine. On the palate, it is a very nice, generous and powerful Pinot Noir. There are also noble spices, touches of roasted coffee and bitter chocolate from Tanzania. A great finesse of tannins lines the palate, revealing a thickness and a width, characteristic of the Grand Cru Hengst. A fusion between the balance of the fruit and the haute couture aging presents us, a wine of pleasure under the sign of the gluttony with a promising future. Grapes come from Wintzenheim, on the Grand Cru Hengst. Marno-calcaro-sandstone, southern exposure. Vines are about 40 years old. "Although this has staggering forest-berry aromas, it's also full of rooty mystery. It is really hard to find words that are up to this breathtaking beauty. Completely seamless right through the super-long, wide-screen finish. Enormous aging potential, but it tastes just perfect now. From vines in the Grand Cru Hengst. From biodynamically grown grapes. More than 50% whole cluster, then matured in 60% new oak, the rest second use. Drink or hold." - 100 points, James Suckling

The nose is discreet with a floral touch as well as notes of mara strawberries. In the mouth, a precision, a depth, a radiance that makes you want to repeat endlessly. It has a rigor and a solar tone which underline its raw material and allow this Pinot Noir to give a very gastronomic dimension. Food Pairing: Veal, Game, Poultry, Mushroom "Stunning blackberry and black-cherry nose with notes of orange zest and cinnamon. Such a graceful wine, the power and concentration below the waterline at the front and on the mid-palate, until they sweep you away at the diamond-bright finish. So much energy and vitality that it's dangerous! From a site just below the Grand Cru Furstentum. 65% whole cluster. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold." - 98 points, James Suckling
